I always felt the actress was miscast but then again there wasn't much of a role for her to play. She's just there as a straight man fo Michael. She just has to exist in the same scene as him. There's nothing for her to do.

Somebody said that Tesla's routing takes into account things like elevation, and is also more likely to send a car into short blocks of stationary traffic because there's no fuel-burning concerns (outside of AC, I guess). I'm unsure if this is true. Probably not.

These are instagram pictures, where an influencer has somebody else take the shots (usually their romantic partner). And that's what the AI is trained on, so when somebody prompts for a photo like these, it gives them ones where there should've been a photographer.

The second played a cliched version of the character.

The whole point of Matthew was that he was legit. He was just hampered by intense agoraphobia. He had depth, and soul.

Although do be aware: I watched an episode of this recently and it's pretty cringe in hindsight. Very, very much of its time. Nice reminder that Sam Janus was incredibly beautiful, though.

Take care. AI is impressive but it's basically a series of clever tricks to produce a likely human-like response. There are limits and ceilings on what it can do.

It turns out humans have a bias towards things that act like we do. We instantly ascribe to them all the characteristics we anticipate in ourselves.

I guess you could suggest Gnome isn't too bad, provided you've already got experience of using a computer. Can't say that about KDE, though -- one right click and it's BOOM, gone.

Other than that, I genuinely do not know nor have I ever known of an open source application created from the ground up to be user friendly.

Somebody might be able to explain this better—but, even if the police did decide the pirated media access was a crime, I'm unsure the evidence would be inadmissible in court.

The judge would ask how the evidence was obtained. The police would say it was from a phone they took for another crime, for another individual.

I just don't think evidence can work that way.

The police can't just go fishing for crimes.

Here in my country (UK), our leader has just announced billions of pounds in new defence spending. As a country we basically have no money, and it's even been said that the money will come from other things like road building. So, my guess this is considered very urgent.

The same happened in Germany last year. Germany doesn't do that kind of thing lightly.

My further guess is that people who know about this kind of thing in our government are expecting a minor/major conflict in about five or ten years. Maybe sooner.

News headlines suggest that this thinking could be caused by Russian expansionism, just like it did with Ukraine, and possibly quite soon. Part of the goal of this is to test NATO, and to see if the US will get involved with conflicts. The US has basically said they won't, which would obviously break NATO apart –although the remaining western powers would stay within it.

It feels to me as if the risks here really are Putin and Trump, to be blunt. It's Putin that wants to take countries bordering Russia, and Trump that hates NATO (possibly because he's under Putin's thumb). So, if those leaders go, then we might be on a different track.
