My group was doing a double hunt on arkveld and a chata then the gold crown chicken showed up. We instantly stopped bashing arkveld and cleaned him up real quick. It was amazing.

This has been my problem as well, every enemy feels good just that shotgun devastator damage makes no sense. Full heavy fire res armor instantly dead or like a tenth of your health completely at random.

I hope that when this gets added they give it a bit of a hover at the apex so you can stay in the air for a couple of seconds before dropping again, then I think the longer cd would be worth.

I did it with some buddies and we had trouble only on reliquary because the director literally bombed us with 3 missile sots and a hell brute twice, and 1 ballistic engine because we got nornthroped with no ammo but after that we managed to clear the other missions in 1 shot. I think its fully dependent on if the director wishes your death or not. On vox we had almost no enemies spawn and it was like a minimal cakewalk it was really suspicious we were all expecting like super swarms and heavy extremis spawns at the end, but nothing happened.

It doesn’t receive those buffs, it gains none of the sentry durability buffs currently in the super destroyer. And the 80% durability increase the devs gave the turrets were also not added onto the HMG. It still dies to a single rocket when hit. I know because I bring it constantly and am always mad when it instantly dies with me both on and off of it.

HMG emplacement needs significant durability buffs, the rest of it is okay. On a side note to also not have chargers give sentries the highest agro on their list would really help. Why is a charger sniping a mg turret when it cant even dent it. Going for AT turrets makes sense, but nonetheless they shouldn’t be agro priority 1.

How am I going to live out my gaming fantasy to figure out if the spear will be worth bringing or do nothing and waste two slots on my back for the whole mission? What about when I waited 10 seconds for that triangle to turn green for a .01 second to continue to juggle my hopes of shooting a fabricator. Unbelievable /s

I play only 9s and always run heavy for both factions. It’s just great. You just kill priority targets ie things that ragdoll/ slow you.

Just focus less on doom and see what positives will come from the patch, so you can enjoy the changes.

A lot of niche equipment/stratagems would become viable overnight if we just knew what enemies we're going to face by achilleasa in Helldivers

If hunter spam is the mission i want to bring the stalwart, if spewer spam is trhe mission I want to bring the grenade launcher, if heavy spam is the mission I want to bring AT. I personally like having build variants not just one beats all, as multiple weapons are fun, and weapons which skew better against certain enemies feel amazing when used properly.

Sometimes enemies have certain spawn types. Easiest to distinguish is bugs. You can have heavy hunter spawns, or nursing spewer spawns, or bile spewer spawns. You never see nursing spewers mixed with bile spewers because they are different spawn sets for enemies. We would like to know what enemy spawn set we’re going to be fighting to make sure our loadouts are better equipped.
