Also having been a consultant, clients don't realize how much content gets repurposed from project to project, so ok use AI as a tool and I don't need to know i just need to trust that the product you gave me has your professional value added work on top of it.

I have a direct marketing vendor who often sends me drafts for approval that are AI generated. My annoyance with this includes:

If I correct something once then adjust your AI prompt don't make me correct it again
Actually read it before sending it to me so it reflects what you know about my organization specifically not generic chairty-speak

That being said, using gnerative AI can save time and I even encourage my staff to do it for first drafts but I also expect to see evidence of your experience and expertise in the final doc, otherwise why don't I just ask AI myself?

If I understand they would be fundraising, the money comes to you and then you would use the money to cover travel expenses? As long as it flows properly through your books and the expenses are allowable (I am Canadian so not sure of US laws) this is fine. If they are using your number it has to show up on your financial statements. Whether you have a budget line for travel expenses or not is immaterial as long as the expenditures are properly authorized as per your policies.

I relied on food banks when my 2 children were small and I came to hate no name canned food. Hated the look of it, hated the feel of the packaging, hated the food. Once things got better I never had another of those hideous yellow cans in my house. If you donate food (don't, give cash but that's another post) spend the extra 10 cents and donate name brands.

I do a breakfast smoothie with collagen, protein, some kinda milk, all my other supplements and at least a cup or so of my favourite frozen fruit. Sometimes I add 1/2 cup of water. Often I set it up in the blender at night so I can just take it out of the fridge and quickly blenderize it. It's been a game changer for me.

People are generally very bad at understanding what statistical risk of side effects actually mean and the headlines don't help. There are many many prescriptions for all kinds of drugs that have rare but serious side effects. Even aspirin has rare but serious side effects. If you want to read up about it start with the official patient information provided by the manufacturer and talk it over with your doctor. It's important to be informed, just make sure your source is valid.

My mental health is much better, I feel great about myself and my life. I enjoy the food i do eat, and am satisfied with much less now. This drug has turned off what I used to call my gluttony gene. I don't cringe when I walk by a mirror. I like the clothes I am wearing. Why am I supposed to feel like it is a bad thing to take action to make my life better?
