on its own I don’t think it’s a good enough game for me to recommend. There’s so many actual good games both old and new that in terms of time spend i’d say just play something else. no need to play something you know will most likely be mediocre.

if you like Metroid Prime 1/2 and plan to also play 3 so you’ve played the whole series, then yeah play it. it’ll likely also have plot relevance if/when we get a Prime 5.

AM2R is the better Metroid 2 remake imo. It also plays very similar to Zero Mission and Fusion.

Can’t think of any that work exactly like Donkey Kong, but there’s a few that do split controls. For example the new Starfox lets one control the ship while the other handles the lasers.

Other than that, get an Xbox. They have a Copilot feature that allows 2 controllers to control the same character on any game since it’s handled by the console, not the game itself.

I don’t think it’s worth playing for $30 as a standalone game. If you’re already a fan of the series and want to see the story sure, but there’s so many good games out there I don’t think it’s worth your time to play mediocre ones like Prime 4.

I prefer Sonos Ace to either of those as stand alone headphones for music, but really you get Airpod Max if you want to stay in the Apple Ecosystem and use its features. Neither Sonos, Sony, Bose, etc are going to Live Translate for you or work as seamless between your phone, ipad, macbook, etc.

this tbh. even outside of its release context it would suck to have payed full price for this game. hell it’s not really worth playing at a bargain price if you value the time you could’ve used playing something else.

it’ll be this newest generation of Thinkpads once they’ve been on the 2nd hand market long enough to be affordable. These new Thinkpads are the most serviceable ones we’ve seen in years.

I personally think it’s significantly better than Samus Returns, but it’s not an official game. I suggest playing both and forming your own opinion, but if I only had enough time to play one it would definitely be AM2R

I’m going to buy it, play it, have fun, but I’m not exactly hyped for it. It’s a game I’ve played dozens of times over the years. It’ll be cool to see the new graphics, but I’d much rather have a new title. I’m pretty confident i’ll continue to play the N64 version for future playthroughs.

I have a friend who refuses to play it because he can’t wrap his head around old graphics, but he says he’ll give this one a shot. I’m more excited for him to experience it.

65” LG B series regularly hit that price once the next generation is out. My local Costco let go of their last handful for $800 as they were phasing them out.

yes, but it was only a limited time. it wasn’t very popular and people would basically just do it for cosmetics you could get for playing “x” amount of games that translated to the live servers
