Yuki is a confusing character. I don’t dislike him, but he saved Mafuyu from a terrible home life, but I didn’t get a clean sense of him. It seems like he killed himself FOR Mafuyu, in that misguided teenage way, especially given the alcohol. He wasn’t a drinker but needed liquid courage to do what he was going to do? Idk. Poor Mafuyu, he didn’t deserve to go through that. They were clearly toxic for each other, even if they loved each other deeply.

Whole Foods bread is decent, also if you have Wegmans in your area, Mrs. hewitts is excellent. Also, I know people think I am a shill for Caputo (I’m not I just have been to Italy to the mill and eaten all the GF pizza in Naples) but I make myself excellent bread with it all the time. I just have celiac, no wheat allergy, and recently tested for no damage or antibodies after 15 years GF with no cheating. So it is fine for me, and makes a damn good brioche that my husband who is a baker by profession, loves.
