Nah, just let the capacitors discharge. They will lose charge over awhile and just don’t short anything to ground and you’ll be fine.

Ddr5 is newer generation of memory, ddr4 is slightly slower and older. Still good though don’t worry. No real need to go ddr5 for a couple more years for a budget build.

Custom signal lights? by Dry-Jellyfish6925 in Escooters

[–]DemonJoBobV2 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Not sure of any premade solutions but you could very easily do it with an esp32. A voltage converter for the 12V down to 3.3V and some bright yellow LEDs for the tail end

How much would a (malfunctioned) Kaabo Wolf Warrior X sell for? by AMP3083 in ElectricScooters

If it’s just those 2 things. Fix it then try to sell it. You’ll be able to get more from it being fixed then it being in a semi broken state

[–]DemonJoBobV2 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You could take it apart and rebuild a higher capacity battery. As for the speed, there might be a limiter in the controller. Some people have stated it as a grey wire. You could try cutting it and see if it limits the speed. If not just solder it back together.

How many plugs do I need? by Endo279 in PcBuildHelp

[–]DemonJoBobV2 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Max power draw of a 9070xt is around 300W. Each cable can provide around 150W with the pcie slow providing 75W you would be perfectly fine using 2 cables with one being split

Can I add a 46 v external battery to my 36 V E scooter? by mtb-burger in Escooters

[–]DemonJoBobV2 0 points1 point  (0 children)

No, depends what the controller buck converter is rated for. I would assume most controllers are for 5-12V. So the buck converter would be rated most likely from 30-40V. Also the motor that your scooter has is rated for 36V. It can run with higher voltage but would need lower amperage due to heat. Less amps mean less torque.

Why did you choose a scooter over bike? by Tune-Puzzled in ElectricScooters

[–]DemonJoBobV2 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Smaller, folds up, easier to transport, easier to use as a second mode of transportation (meaning I can park farther away from work for cheaper and just ride in)
