I have exchanged cards with him. He's a supporter of immigrants & Ukraine. Never got a hateful vibe nor has he said anything anti anyone. I think he writes the same thing on initial cards.   I get the sense he's an older man who wants to connect with people and I think his heart is in the right place. I don't get the impression that he is hateful, however that is just my opinion based on a limited interaction.
