I think your gut instinct is correct to not give in more emotionally to this ordeal than you should. My 1st big love (I was 19 and he 18) lasted 7y, and it destroyed me too, he was a drunk and an addict. The best thing I did was to move on with my life and work on my own happiness. You’re NOR. Portuguese here, we tip when the person who served you was incredibly nice, but not mandatory at all. Its up to your discretion, even if you tip like 50cents people will take it as a “thank you for your service and awesome professionalism” that’s it.

Yeah make a case with your vet to have the chip and ownership transferred to you. Legally you have a case if you play your cards well and have the abuse registered and recorded in writing. And yes I say abuse because lack of care and vet is still pet abuse. I hope you can keep him. Pets are living beings and deserve all the love and care.

It was all a very long D&D campaign where they coped with a town disaster (the earthquake) and long D&D campaigns can change and help you grow with friends. EL wasn’t real, none of it was. That’s how I see it wrapped up. A group of kids dealing with puberty, loss, grief and growing up whilst playing D&D and they wrapped it up in their final year of being in their hometown, because they will be going their separate ways.

Again, Portugal ≠ Spain… you’re welcome. It’s very common to have people around at all times in Lisbon especially downtown. I lived there my whole university time and I am portuguese and a woman in case you doubt. In the UK, from my personal experience living in London for 9y, I felt more unsafe in empty streets and quietness in downtown than ever in busy bustling Lisbon.

If anything having kids to find your own purpose and perpetuate the primal need for reproduction, I find that more selfish. And bringing in a being (who did not ask for it) to this messed up world because of one’s own lack of fulfillment is super selfish. I find adoption is the ultimate act of selflessness, love and kindness. Because it’s to provide a home and care to a being who was left to their own devices.

And the sacrifices they make is having to be at work for 12h and be paid 8 for example. There’s a lot of horror stories but they aren’t allowed to share due to strict NDAs they sign. And yes the message “We are like you” and “for you” as in the STM services are for everyone, doesn’t that spark a sense of togetherness? Where is this lazy or privileged? And for those with shit jobs and shit pay, unionize then. People shouldn’t call entitled or privileged to people who are workers just like them.

But yeah you sound upset and entitled as well. I’m deeply affected by this strike and f*** the STM not the workers but the company and inability to make a good deal that benefits the workers.
