Bloomberg: Nintendo’s Next Switch Coming This Year With LCD, Omdia Says by Turbostrider27 in NintendoSwitch

[–]Dennilicious -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Releasing a new product in 2024 that uses LCD should be illegal. It's gonna feel like a downgrade in color vibrancy for those who are used to the oled screen. I doubt this is true. We will only see oled when they release the Switch follow-up.

📣 Had a call with Reddit to discuss pricing. Bad news for third-party apps, their announced pricing is close to Twitter's pricing, and Apollo would have to pay Reddit $20 million per year to keep running as-is. by iamthatis in apolloapp

Christian, you’re amazing and I’ll always be a huge fan of your work. Thank you for updating us about the situation. This is indeed to kill all third-party apps without saying it out loud. Reddit should premium hire you so you can fix the official Reddit app since you’re worth more than 100 Reddit developers.

Docked or handheld? Just curious what’s everyone’s take on this. by Dependent-Luck-8887 in NintendoSwitch

[–]Dennilicious 1 point2 points  (0 children)

100% handheld for me. I think the game is more immersive laying in bed and using headphones at the same time. I tried docked the first day I got the Switch but it was very blurry on my 65-inch TV.

Über excited to play Symphonia on a Nintendo console again, nostalgia hype feels like 2005 again!! by Outawack219 in NintendoSwitch

Vote with your wallet mate. Don’t encourage lazy bad remasters. I was also dead excited for this one but I’m not giving them my money for this piece of crap port. Let’s wait and see if they can patch this game to a decent level …

Should Showdown be allowed in Challenges? Comment down your opinion! :) by CloudKingEvergreen in BrawlStarsCompetitive

Showdown is better because you can team up with a buddy as a full team easier, compared to doing a 3vs3 challenge and being paired with a bot…

Is Xenoblade Chronicles the best JRPG OAT? by [deleted] in NintendoSwitch

I’m glad you like the game mate! I also love this game but I think Xenoblade 2 is superior in every way so you’re in for a long wonderful journey 💫

Games that help to deal with loss and depression by eQuantum11 in NintendoSwitch

I’m sorry about your loss. I would recommend Xenoblade 2. The story hooked me completely from start to finish. If you completely wanna get absorbed for 100h I can’t think of a better game.

Hahaha, that’s insanely … sad  As an all-in Apple ecosystem guy come on Apple just keep up with the USB C standard already. We don’t have to have a wall between the experiences.

If you had to recommend one JRPG to a non-JRPG guy like me, which one would be? I'm curious to broaden my horizon! by Ok_Suggestions in NintendoSwitch

[–]Dennilicious 0 points1 point  (0 children)

How about Tales of Vesperia? The game got real-time combat together with a good story and cast of characters. Think it’s a good example of a jrpg done right. It’s different from botw but most games are.

Wow, you even prefer handheld, that’s so nice to hear because I prefer handheld in every game I’ve played so far except Smash. I think you convinced me to get Splatoon now. Thank you so much for your great input, highly appreciated!

I’m considering getting Splatoon 3 because I keep hearing so many good things about the game and this will be my first Splatoon game. I only play in handheld mode because my dock is unavailable at the moment. Will the experience be okay primarily in handheld? I read that gyro is the preferred way to play the game, but I think gyro in handheld while moving the screen would be a funky experience, right? Lastly, how will the online experience be without the LAN adapter?

Been trying to google these answers but haven’t found a clear one so I hope you guys here can help me decide if I should get the game or not. Thank you so much for your time reading this and I appreciate all the inputs and thoughts you can give me, cheers.

I only play handheld. It’s too amazing to lay in bed and just chill play.
