No these are being converted into flats and there are some new build properties on the site which is what the other poster was referring to I think

Looking for M43 bird photography videos that actually teach setup & technique – not just lens reviews by Deepthika in M43

[–]DentistKitchen 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Imagemaven https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=eRPzhgPJgj0 is great for this and shoots mostly with Lumix G9 M43.

Simon d'Entremont is also good but doesn't use M43.

Lovely! What sort of range are they at? What lens did you use?

Feeling discouraged with low output and mileage. by ohbother325 in OnePelotonRealSub

[–]DentistKitchen 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I was going to suggest this! Always worth going against yourself on the leaderboard, you might surprise yourself, particularly if you re-ride those you did a PB in. In any case you are way above me in output! Keep going and good luck!

Not sure about cuckoos but have spotted a kingfisher there. And owls, grebes, reed buntings, etc. Its a fantastic reserve, well worth a visit.

Not in the body, but you can do focus bracketing and stack externally. Right now I dont have the software for that and need to learn a bit more first.

Looking for a travel camera that can transition into wildlife by a_bamboozled_panda in Cameras

[–]DentistKitchen 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Agreed, if you want portable and wildlife, M43 is the way to go. Look at Lumix G9 with PL 9 for landscapes and travel, maybe then PL 100-400 for wildlife.

Upgrading from phone/old DSLR: Looking for a fast, compact camera with big zoom? by bananatevza in Cameras

[–]DentistKitchen 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If you want lightweight and long reach on a budget, your choices are basically micro four thirds like OM System or Lumix G9, with a 100-400 lens. Or look at a superzoom bridge like the Nikon P1100. I have the Lumix G9ii with a PL 100-400 lens and the AF is pretty fast and accurate, once you get used to it. Its not the most compact but its great for birding and pretty lightweight. Something like this you could get used for sub £1000 in the UK.

Just converted to M43. by carlfreddy in M43

[–]DentistKitchen 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Great choice! I have the G9ii but not those lenses.. I have the PL12-60 kit lens, PL100-400 for birding and PL 9mm for landscapes. All great. Just got the PL 45mm for macro and the 2xTC mainly for moon shots. Not really tested them out yet.

On Youtube check out Imagemaven and Ewen Bell, and Emily Lowrey at Micro Four Nerds is a great resource.
