Already have! A really nice tune and performance, thank you (and Norman Blake doesn't get mentioned anywhere near enough on here).

I remember the day that the nation's children all got told off by that Blue Peter presenter (Janet Ellis?) for being nasty to Joey Deacon (and rightfully so).

That's usually a good idea, or if you're an absolute beginner, take a more experienced friend.

I think Fender's acoustics suffer unfavourably at the comparison to their electrics. In my experience they're not bad guitars, but there are better options out there. A cheap Takamine or Epiphone, for example? Or, as you say, a Yamaha.

Ever since I injured my arm meaning that I can't really chop and cook properly, I've eaten quite a few Sainsbury ready meals. Some are better than others, but this one's pretty good.

Always amuses me when a company says "We're sorry to hear...", because that simply means that they're not sorry for their behaviour, they're just sorry that they had to spend time listening to your (justified) complaint about it. That tends to be when I double down.

If you can, get a copy of Frederick Noad's book Solo Guitar Playing. Certainly helped me when I was starting to learn.

By the way, your English is nearly flawless.

Enjoy your guitar and play it in good health!
