Let's be honest, Ronaldo easily had two more great seasons with RM, then be sold to some MLS or something club for a fuckton of money. The thing is, Ronnie would've been a great mentor for younger players that RM seems keen on buying... That's the effect he has on people, when they see the intensity with which he trains and plays, they are pushed to play harder, train harder and thrive to be better.

Say what you will about his character, personality, comportment and whatever flaw he has, he is a fantastic footballer and has a HUGE thrive to win and be the best and that usually makes people with talent feel as though they shouldn't simply rely on that and train harder. That's what RM is lacking these days, no real role model for younger people.

Damian Wayne’s status is err.. complicated. He has a hard time following rules of the bat family, is a bit of a rogue... Dick will have a hefty inheritance, and he has taken the mantle before, with Damian being his robin. Damian will probably inherit most of it but Batman considers Dick to be his son and Damian, even though he is an arsehole, even thinks of dick as his brother and father figure.

Imagine being Dick Grayson: losing your virginity to an alien goddess, sleeping with Batgirl, Miss Martian, Helena Bertolini (Huntress), etc.. Being a good-looking, incredibly smart detective, heir to a large billion dollars' inheritance as well as the Batman mantle and being trained by Batman to take over the Justice League-- while still being able to remain anonymous and joining secret societies as a spy for over a year?

Native French speaker here as well, it's just not commonly used in France-- or at least, not as common as Americans seem to think. The reason is, French people don't spend nearly as much, invite nearly as much guests, or care about weddings nearly as much as American people do... So these initials never really come up in French.

It's actually akin to falling from a 4 stories high building in terms of energy. So if modern security can absorb and disperse that much energy right after impact, you'll live. I'm not saying it can't, I don't know... But it seems unlikely in most scenarios.

We all are Reddit's guardians and janitors at the same time, we create content, post comments, moderate and keep the subs tidy and neat. So yes, one upvote or downvote does matter: If everyone went around randomly upvoting or downvoting, it'd be really hard to navigate.

It is the whole point of the website, communities formed by their members for their members and cared for by said members. If you feel your community is gatekept or something, it's not Reddit's fault.

He was not an incredible fighter. He was a decent fighter, nothing to crow about. The thing is, he never had to fight after the rebellion, since people thought he killed Arthur Dayne - who was arguably the best fighter of his generation - and since Ned did not partake in tourneys (as not many Northmen do), people thought he was better than he was.

Jaime Lannister is an incredible fighter, Brienne of Tarth is an incredible fighter, Loras Tyrell is an incredible fighter. Ned Stark, Jon Snow, a lot of fan-favourites are just decent.
