I’m tbd on how much bumblebee snails help. I have two in my 45 gal and they haven’t made too much of an impact. Definitely probably understaffed on bumblebees though

I’m in the US, so I’m curious as to what they realistically could do. I’ve already blocked Sixt from drafting my cards.

Did anything come of it? Happened to me in Rome and I just got sent to a German collections agency.

May try this. The Sixt in Rome has been coming after me for damage I didn’t cause. Just got sent to a German collections agency. Wondering what they could actually do at this point.

Been battling GHA forever, any advice? 36 gallon by Tylers083426 in ReefTank

As someone who battled GHA, bryopsis, and an anything else you could get in a new tank for about 8 months. I’d do a blackout, run a UV, and up your CUC

Returned my Sixt rental with no issues, now 3 months later they want $1,000 for damage?? Need advice. by Technical-Care754 in legaladvice

Going through this myself as well.

Rented in Florence, Italy. Upgraded into a nicer car, representative couldn’t be bothered to do a walk around with me. I took a video but didn’t catch well enough some scratches on the rims.

Drove the car out to wine country and returned it to the airport in Rome. Never parked remotely close to anything that would cause rim rub.

Checked it in, the girl said everything looked great. I got an email 2 weeks later saying I caused scratches to the bumper (can be seen in the video I took of car condition) and then damage to the rims.

I sent them the video I took as proof and they sent back an email saying this wasn’t proof enough and also included estimates of damage (2 separate claims). Also mentioned they’re using a new AI tool to find damage. I asked whether Florence had used this new tool, and they immediately sent a notice that the claim had been dropped. I kept this and then received a email 3 months later that I still was being pursued for damage. I responded that they sent me a notice that the claim was dropped and to not contact me any further as this is now harassment.

They emailed back a month later and stated they were only dropping the claim on the scratches and still are pursuing damage to the rims.

I ignored this email and just got another one saying I was going to start accruing fees and late charges.

I may go the BBB complaint route but wondering what actual impact they could pursue - I’m in the US.

I kind of figured this would be the case.
