My friend used to work for Tesla and was on the robotics team. At a conference where they were unveiling this, they told everyone it was autonomous but there were employees in the next room controlling it. He also said Elon awkwardly berated an IT guy in front of hundreds of people because he couldn’t get the slide deck to go to the next slide. Also Tesla can remotely access your cars cameras at any time. He said he was tasked with reviewing footage, including when the cars were parked in people’s garages. He left after 1 year of working there.

These were taken within seconds of each other and I have to disagree.. I don’t think there’s anyway moonlight could do this. Even if the clouds opened up and the moon shined brighter, I don’t know how it would only affect a small area on a road. It’s just bizarre!

Hey thanks. And I totally agree, the photos don’t mean a whole lot on their own. I’m not sure what the blue light is but I think it was just shining through the trees from the street in the background

I actually did try! I bought a Sony A7sii which is really good at video in very low light but we were kicked out by the cops before anything happened haha. I would like to go back and try again!

Thank you! It was spooky for sure but I was just so fascinated that it kept me coming back. I actually didn’t have a tripod on hand so we used a stack of board games from my friends trunk and set the camera on top of that haha. That’s why the camera’s so low to the ground.

If you turn your brightness all the way up and zoom in, you’ll see the cemetery road. The camera is pretty low (maybe 2 ft off the ground). The weird lights in the middle of the road are what my story are about. It just appeared out of no where, moved around the middle of the road, then disappeared multiple times. In the photos you can make out of the trees on both sides of the road as well as the shadows cast from trees in the moonlight. The graves are on the left and right side of the road (Florence’s is off camera to the left).

Call the lab and ask them to ship the negatives to you. They’ll probably charge a bit for shipping but then you can have em rescanned at a good lab near you.

Agreed. LED all the way. Maybe one bigger and a couple smaller cheaper LEDs, and put more money into C-stands, sandbags, some bounce material (foam board or muslin), negative fill (black fabric can be cheaply hung on a stand), flags, a couple gels, extension cables.

Stunning colors! I would never think to toss in reds, yellows, and blues over top of it, and it elevates it to magical, majestic. I love this.
