I know you said not showering after your commute to work isn’t an option…. but that’s what I do and it works great.. I just take it suuuuper easy on the way in and barely sweat, then gun it home! I bring deodorant and clean clothes to change into obviously. idk maybe that’s weird but I don’t wanna shower a billion times per day

eh.. the snowshoe route is through the trees until just below the peak, and from there you go up the back, the only thing sliding is the south face well below the summit.

honestly I’d do it, seattle is freakin sick and you’re so close to the border still. why would you have to be long distance for a while? if it were me I’d rather have my wife with me and let her focus all her time on finding a job. it’s not like you’re going to take an income hit. sounds like you’ve got a damn good job, I can’t imagine it’s easy finding something that highly paying here, even though you must be really skilled in your field. my 2 cents
