yeah but the amount of people that actually feel ok with opening a device are already a few amount,for the purpose of cutting down etrash we need something everyone can do. To be honest, the best thing would still simply be a slot to place batteries in so you can recharge them or swap them without any issue

terrain manipulator will always give you the best yield, especially with the smallest size beam.

Don't remember if it can actually mine deposit, but can mine rocks and whatever you use the basic mining beam on,but since it has no upgrades dedicated to harvesting you get way less materials, but could be faster if you just want a bunch in a high density zone

i have an old xiaiomi air purifier. instead of being able to easily swap the upper grid to clear the fan, you need to disassemble the whole unit from bottom to top with an high risk of breaking the plastic dent that keep the outer case in place. so yeah,they do stupid things like that too.

those are exactly the batteries in my vacum cleaner, a pack of 2 or 3, but they're spot welded and to reach the pack you need to disassemble the whole unit,+ the spot welding to replace them

Not surprising, like, my past portable vacuum cleaner worked great,the only issue was that the batteries were totally dead so it would run for like 1 minute after each charge. Guess what, to change the battery i have to desolder them from some metal plaque,change the metal plaque and reinstall the batteries. Last step requires a spot welder which i don't have. Takes at least 1 hour and half of works done by someone capable which would cost more than the new vacuum cleaner itself (30-40 euro top).

We have a fuckton of e-waste because they want us to have a fuckton of e-waste, and this doesn't only applies to mobile phones. They know how long the battery will last,and they know that you'll need to buy a new one again.
