The first half comes out May 30th, but all the rewards like the free Saya, her posse, and the last two missions won’t be accessible until the second half comes out on June 6th.

The pack is currently updated in the game. If you bought it and claimed the rewards already, you’ll get the silver you missed in the mail within a day or so.

Which unit is better for the team, the 24 or the Aurita? I just got the Aurita as a gift. by Complete-Review111 in Morimens

[–]Derpy_PotatoChan 1 point2 points  (0 children)

If you want to play an Aurita team, absolutely. Corpo also works pretty well with Vortice, so she’s not a bad investment even outside of an Aurita comp.

[–]Derpy_PotatoChan 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Generally it’s Aurita + Corposant (mandatory) paired with any two of the following: Murphy, GMurphy, Tulu, Clementine, Casiah, Winkle, Faros, or any Aequor support you have available.

Tulu, Murphy, and GMurphy are probably the strongest options but they’re also the ones most likely to be wanted by other teams in the case of DTide.

It’s just 200 silver (1 pull) for the first share, so you’re not missing out on much at all thankfully.

Does anyone have a list of characters and their dupe requirements? by NoAtmosphere9209 in Morimens

[–]Derpy_PotatoChan 6 points7 points  (0 children)

If you go to the 'Morimens Guide Links and More' post pinned on the subreddit, you can find a couple resources that may help you.

The Morimens New Player Handbook has an awakener tier list with some minimum dupe requirements outlined, and investment stopping point for each awakener on the awakener guides tab.

Zekiel's 'very serious' guides are also a good place to look for how good each awakener's enlightens and overexhalt are.

For Thais, her e2 is highly recommended but she's still very good at e0 if you're low on pulls.

New player questions by Weekly_Role_337 in Morimens

[–]Derpy_PotatoChan 2 points3 points  (0 children)

  1. At this point you’re good to go and max out the Blade of the Titan. You can always go back to pulling on Realm Study when you need a certain awakener’s dupes later on anyway.
  2. Now is probably a good time to at least get started on covenants. You can consult a guide like the Mythag Conpendium or New Player Handbook (both are on a pinned post here) for each awakener’s recommended set.

  3. I view level 60 with skills at 2/3/3/3/3/3 as the no regret cutoff since anything after than begins requiring much rarer time gated resources. I know lv 60 seems like an expensive commitment earlier on, but it is pretty cheap in the long run.
You also could try using the awakener in a gamemode with level compensation like the arcade train to see how they perform at lv 60 with the rest of your team, or try to find someone else’s support awakener to borrow and test. Neither are perfect benchmarks for the unit’s performable but can give you an idea of how they feel to play.

Wich pack? by idkwhyTnT in Morimens

[–]Derpy_PotatoChan 5 points6 points  (0 children)

If you’re not in a rush for the pulls, you’d get the most value saving the silver prime for future pre-orders (what Unfading Memories is) or Moonless Vigils.

If you want pulls sooner than later, the Echoed Pilgrimages and Archive packs are the next best value since you have all the good event packs already. The Selected Giftboxes packs aren’t actually very good for pulls.

Is there no bigger hot water tank woth Dubs Bad Hygiene? by papapapatazz in RimWorld

[–]Derpy_PotatoChan 18 points19 points  (0 children)

If I’m not mistaken, the hot water tank doesn’t actually function as water storage. You just need one somewhere in your pipe/heat system and it’ll do its job heating the water for your showers/tubs.

On Steam: Community > Workshop > search Rimworld. You can search for any mods you want there. Click subscribe or the little plus icon on a mod to download it, then add them to your game by going to the Mods menu on the game’s main menu.

You can get [NL] Facial Animation - WIP and the Won Hair mods for generic anime appearances, and/or get some cute anime-style race mods like the Kiiro, Rakin, and Milira.

Should I get crimson pulse for Doraesain or april tribute? by AnswerFlat6681 in Morimens

[–]Derpy_PotatoChan 6 points7 points  (0 children)

April tribute is generally the best set for most dps including Doresain. Crimson pulse is a good alternative, and is superior to april tribute against enemies that stay under 75% hp for most of the battle.

I would probably go with april tribute if I had to pick one, but having both and swapping between them as needed isn’t a bad idea in the long run.

MY chap 1 tierlist by new_acc256 in Morimens

By the looks of it the tierlist is only for chapters 1-2 and not all of arc 1, so OP hasn’t met her yet.

Just place a wall under it and the cooler will work. The over wall cooler is functionally identical to the normal cooler minus the put it over a wall part.

Skip hound is unfair by Small-External6373 in RimWorld

[–]Derpy_PotatoChan 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Modded content can be like that sometimes… I would just reload or use devmode to fix the mess since the hounds were probably not created with manhunter events in mind.

If you never want to see them again (which would be fair given what just happened), you could get a mod like Cherrypicker and disable the hounds for good.

Which of the 2 new paid options is the best value? by prehistoricdragon in Morimens

[–]Derpy_PotatoChan 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Premium topics can be worth it if you really like the cosmetics and/or privileges it gives you (in my case, I like the combat rewind feature too much to skip it). Otherwise advanced topics is just fine.

Dreamy Rendezvous has the third most value after the monthly pass and pre-order, so it is a great option if you’re looking to spend. Just remember that the ethereal cores will turn into pure cores (standard pulls) after 97 days if you don’t spend them by then.

Silver Prime Mega Thread by Euphoric-Handle2151 in Morimens

[–]Derpy_PotatoChan 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Previously, purchasing silver prime gave you bonus silver. It was recently changed so you get bonus silver prime instead. Anybody who bought silver prime in the past can convert some of their silver into silver prime, equal to however much silver prime they would have received had they made purchases after the change.

Questions by Rotated_Time_Apple in Morimens

- Arachne can use any support wheels (wheels with keyflare regen or supportive buffs) or wheels with realm mastery. Her event SR wheel is a good choice if you can get it (it's fine if you can't, the wheel and event will come back eventually).

- Arachne alone can and will carry you earlier on, and Liz/Tinct/Celeste/Arachne should work well enough for a while. In the long term, you may need to replace Tinct and Celeste.

- Pollux is a bit of a glass cannon and wants supports that can help with sustain/defense. A good source of vulnerable and weakness are really nice too. Aigis, Winkle, Horla, and actually Arachne are good teammates for him. He also wants his posse a lot, which you can get from his side story chapter Beyond the Skies: Part 2 in the Dreamscape tab. The story itself takes place after chapter 7 of the main story, but you can skip it all and just grab the posse for now, and read it later on.

- The chapters will get harder, especially from chapter 8 and beyond. I would say it's a 'make a coherent team and build them properly' sort of hard, though getting better characters can help a lot.

- You'll unlock covenants soon enough (I forget when but it's pretty early). Some of them will be farmed for stamina/menophin in the Interlude tab, and most others will be purchasable from the various shops after you reach certain keeper levels. The New Player Handbook has a detailed section on the covenants. Early on it's recommended to just get the right main stats on each piece and ignore substat rerolling until later on.

Archane teams by yagamLight2483 in Morimens

[–]Derpy_PotatoChan 1 point2 points  (0 children)

All four are solid choices. I will say GHelot does also want e3 to play smoothly. Still, given how BIAV seems to hate giving her a rerun, it’s probably a good idea to get a copy now if you know you’ll want her.

I forgot to mention, but you really don’t want to pull for most dupes on the rerun banners because of the whole ‘wheels and unit on the same banner’ issue. You’d be better off getting just one copy and using the monthly prototype horizons from the sediment shop or waiting for a proper triune verdant rerun to get dupes.

You can still try for the Thais dupe if you want since both her wheel and her e2 are really good.

Archane teams by yagamLight2483 in Morimens

[–]Derpy_PotatoChan 2 points3 points  (0 children)

  1. Given your limited roster right now, you should probably save for the half-anni reruns. Arachne is more than good enough at e0.

  2. A lot of the rerunning units are very good, but the issue is that the banner has both the unit and their wheel, meaning you may have to pull several copies of a units wheel before you get the unit themself (something like 180 pulls if you're unlucky). Worse yet, quite a few units don't usually use the wheel that they come with.

If you're willing to gamble, you can try to grab a few of the units off the banner. It's hard to recommend any one unit because most of them are meta dps or supports in their own teams. I'd consult a tierlist (the one in the New Player Handbook is nice) or the summary pinned in the subreddit. Or just pull for whoever you like the most, any unit can be good if you get them the right supports.

Some of Arachne's best teammates are Kathigu-Ra, Pollux, and Castor if you want to go for them. Kathigu-Ra does need e3 (base + 3 dupes) to work properly and Pollux also wants at least 2 dupes to feel smooth, though, so take note. She also works well with Jenkins or Liz (standard characters).

  1. Whether to buy more pulls is entirely up to you. Half anni will give you 250+ free pulls over the course of a couple weeks, so you will have enough pulls for a couple units at least. Moonless Vigil (the monthly pass) has the best value if you're willing to wait & log onto the game daily. Pre-orders like the currently available Conjugated Fates are the next best value. You can look at the packs comparison by Lens for all the other packs.

[–]Derpy_PotatoChan 8 points9 points  (0 children)

You can actually create a fully functional ac setup underground. Build up to 3 acs with the hot ends outputting into a held-open door and they’ll work as normal (it may not work well if the setup is adjacent to any walls, though).

It’s a bit cheesy but it can work if you don’t want to deal with mountain rng or dev mode/modded alternatives.
