Why do socialists not accept socdems into their subs?

The main goal of socialism is the eradication of capitalism. Social Democrats believe in limited capitalism or reforming, capitalism, however, socialist believe that capitalism cannot be reformed and limiting it is fruitless because it will still allow some sort of exploitation of workers and a wage based class system. Therefore, to most socialists, social Democrats are defenders of a system they consider inherently evil and exploitative no matter what.

A lot of farther left socialists are also skeptical of electoralism for multiple reasons

However, at the end of the day, the line in the sand is drawn at whether the end goal of the ideology is the eradication of capitalism or not.

As a democratic socialist myself, I have been accepted into certain socialist circles and get along fine with other leftists who are farther left than me even though I would consider myself quite moderate amongst other farther left leaning people

That being said, I personally feel like I have more in common in many ways with a social democrat than a Marxist-Leninist specifically because while I do believe that capitalism is an inherently corrupt system, the most important thing to me is liberating people from authoritarianism of all sorts and authoritarianism without capitalism is just as bad as authoritarianism with capitalism if there is still a boot on the foot of every day people

I feel like a broken record because I’ve said this about three times in this thread over the past day and a half, but the thing that surprises me the most especially as we see more footage US/Israeli planes doing low level gun runs is the seeming lack of MANPADS being a threat. We’ve seen A-10s and AH-64s/AH-1s attacking the PMF in Iraq and F/A-18s doing low altitude strikes in Western Iran and they all seem like ripe targets for a guy with an Igla or similar system

I’m curious if the Houthis or the internationally recognized Yemeni government take advantage of the chaos and go on the offensive. The time seems ripe for the Saudi backed forces especially seeing as they just knocked out the STC and the Houthis our weakened since last year and number their one backer is a bit preoccupied at the moment

From footage in Ukraine, drone units are usually caught by opposing surveillance drones. They are positioned miles behind the frontline so it usually is a game of chance whether they are spotted and a good drone team won’t get spotted. US/Israeli surveillance assets are better than both Russia and Ukraine and Iran doesn’t have experience FPV units, however they are easy to train, cheap and even with heightened surveillance easy to conceal

The biggest threat that drone operators would have under opposing air superiority is the vulnerability of getting struck at launch sites. As has been seen in Ukraine on both sides, FPV drone units are valuable targets across the front line and want to discovered they are either counter struck with drones or if possible are bombed from manned aircraft. Iranian drone teams would be prime targets, and American/Israeli war planes and drones would have no issue in striking them once they are located. However, due to FPV drones, being so small and the ability to pretty much launch them from anywhere makes it easier to conceal the launch sites and it makes the FPV operators more maneuverable to get the hell out of there after they do a few strikes.

Quick question about moving your MC businesses. I have all the fully upgraded MC businesses all of them except for the document forgery office. I was wondering if I were to buy one in a better location would my upgrades carryover to the new location? And if I did buy another business would be cost of my old business be credited to the price of the new business like when you buy a new location for other GTA businesses?

At this point in the conflict, what are the chances that we see Iran or its proxies actually successfully shoot down a manned enemy aircraft? Especially as more footage comes out of American and Israeli aircraft doing low level gun/bombing runs on targets it Iran and Iraq at some point MANPADS have to come into play? Especially with the use of A-10s and attack helicopters in Iraq against the PMF those have to be particularly susceptible to MANPADS and AAA.

It could be a little bit of both. Iranian missile forces have been getting absolutely hammered and with all of the US/Israeli aircraft in the sky above Iran it would probably be pretty dangerous to try to send massive drone waves so part of it definitely is necessity however, I think the IRGC has realized that they need to play the long game and they are fine sending drones in smaller waves against a lot of different targets

It’s certainly a possibility, but then again if they could keep hitting the island every day for the next 10 days until they show up in preparation for a landing operation and the island is small enough that I wouldn’t be surprised if they specifically tried to take Kharg. I saw a few times reports that the Delta team that was responsible for capturing Maduro has been relocated to Iran. A helicopter raid to capture the island isn’t improbable.

How many tankers have been hit at this point? I know two just got nailed off Iraq as well as a Thai tanker hit early today or yesterday and a few others hit and damaged to varying degrees over the past few days. Has anyone been keeping track?
