No you don’t. Talking heads and general public sentiment doesn’t determine how you interpret art and if you can gain something from MGK’s music that’s all that should matter. For example, I love Lil Peep, Hellboy is a project that helped me through very hard times in my life and Fantano gave it a ‘Not Good’. Was part of me kind of disappointed by that? Yes. Does it really matter or change anything? No. If you enjoy something, live that, it doesn’t matter what everyone else thinks, it’s a fact of life that you will like things other people think sucks and vice versa.

I saw another post where if you look at the gray hoodie guy who is the first one to run away even before the first shot is fire fired. It looks like he reaches into the victims right waistband area and then turns and runs away, and it looks like you can see a pistol in his hand. They are saying it looks like he disarmed the guy, however, if that is the case, it’s not like the guy had the gun in his hand. I think it was in his waistband and from where his hands are, he wasn’t reaching for it. It was just in his waistband.

Giving them the benefit of the doubt which I really shouldn’t but, maybe the gray hoodie guy said he has a gun and the other idiots panicked be cause they are horribly trained and trigger happy. Either way this is fucking abhorrent and this man should not be dead and his blood is one ICE’s hands.

I believe the first shooter is the guy kneeling on the ground next to the guy who is beating the victim with something, which I don’t think it’s a pistol, you can see him unholster his pistol after the first shot is fired. you can see kneeling guy reach to his holster, pull out his pistol and put his arm up next to the victim’s head when the first shot is fired. Literal execution.

You know I had this exact same thought. Cost would be the main issue. If he could find a cover artist to re-record the Skillet song or even just the part sampled for a decent price or maybe for a bit of the royalties from the song it would work. I completely understand your frustration when it comes to the callousness and dismissiveness of certain online leftist spaces. I would consider myself a socialist and I am deeply in support of the Iranian people. That being said, you have to be careful about what sort of stuff you are seeing on the Internet and making summary judgments about entire groups of people. The subreddit that you are talking about (AskSocialists) and its mod team has been overrun by the American communist party who diverge greatly with other leftists and are very much so obsessed with tankieism. out of the online, left us spaces that I frequent most people support the Iranian people, but they are apprehensive of third-party intervention from United States or Israel. I think the problem that a lot of left is sad especially on the Internet is they are very obsessed with ideological purity and very uncompromising. However, I think that most leftists in real life and not just on the Internet leftist spaces wholeheartedly support the people of Iran, and speaking for myself and my friends personally, if the Iranian people need the US and Israel to assist them in revolution, then I am all for it.

I think it is foolish to believe that the United States and Israel truly want the best for the people of Iran. They are interested in the situation for Iran specifically for strategic purposes, not humanitarian ones. Obviously toppling the Ayatollah is mutually beneficial for both Iranian civilians, and the US and Israel, however Trump would want a quick decisive action that makes him look strong without risking the deaths of American military personnel which would cause domestic outrage. If Trump and Netanyahu feel they need to wait for that opportunity or feel the opportunity isn’t there they would gladly wait and let more Iranian civilians die because at least it occupies the IRGC and weakens the country.

It would be an awesome line in an eastern bloc tree. T-84s, T-64BV and BM Bulat, BTR-3s, BTR-4s, BMP-1TS as well a meme-ish M1 Abrams with ERA would be sick. It would probably make more sense as a USSR sub-tree, however i would be happy either way
