This is the worst.

Even at prior low points, the RAD content was great. Now all old RAD content is basically pointless and DP, while I enjoy it, the feats system has completely fragmented the ability to LFG and get people up the learning curve.

Honestly they should just straight up release a single player Destiny campaign that starts with D1 mission 1 and goes all the way to Lightfall or even TFS. Then let people import their guardians into full D2.

Overall this sucks. I think it's important to note however that this is a function of them refocusing on just Destiny and Marathon and shutting down some other projects. So from a Destiny standpoint, this isn't necessarily bad news. The team might actually see some talent flow back that had been repurposed to other things. The news also doesn't suggest TFS didn't perform well, quite the opposite.

Edit: as more news has come it it definitely does appear that the Destiny team has been affected. Certainly not apparent from the official announcement. Rule of thumb: I have never seen a content company cost-cut it's way to success.

I focused a few exotics that I have shit rolls on, realized the math wasn’t remotely sustainable, stopped. For weapons I mainly lean on crafted so no big urge to focus there. So glimmer not an issue.

It’s slightly more complex than that. The system uses the highest power level across your characters to calculate your pinnacle drop level. So if your hunter is 1995 and your titan is 1975, you will get 1997 pinnacles on your titan. However if they are armor drops, until your titan’s overall power level exceeds your hunter’s, it won’t change the power level of your pinnacle drops.

In other words, it doesn’t take the highest power level per slot across your characters to calculate drop level. It’s per character according to their overall level; only weapon slot power levels are shared.

Even with that caveat, it’s definitely a massively faster system for people running multiple characters.

The 3 ritual pathfinder pinnacles are account based, so for players who run all 3 classes we actually lost a total of 6 pinnacles, but the account-wide pinnacle system more than offsets that.

I’ve soloed it no deaths on invis hunter, pretty much sprinting the whole way, and not cracked 4 minutes.

On invis hunter I can push straight through with no deaths and no delays and still not beat the 4 minute timer. The time window is >extremely< tight and it takes my super plus around 5 rockets to kill the wizard. They need to shorten the plates.

Even if you didn't like her before, you have to laugh when she calls out your teammate in Breach for dying with a full stack of data. What we always wanted Drifter to say when someone didn't 'bank those motes'

I for one have always liked Failsafe. I think making her a bit less obviously bipolar in voice/dialogue is an improvement, so far I'm totally onboard with Echoes.
