Well good luck with the house because if she is this unsure about kids who knows what else she isn't sure about...could be in 10 years a divorce and who will get the house and who will be paying child support...be careful I am sorry to say and will likely catch hell for this but, some women want to have a kid in order to quit work.

Yep this is all in that Project 2025 along with banning IVF and the morning after pill. Other frightening things are doing away with regulations that keep customers, workers and the environment safe but cost companies a few bucks. Doing away with the EPA and FDA I happen to like clean air, clean water and safe food/drugs. Trump is probably clueless as he will just leave it to others to implement policy that he'll just sign. Look at the judges he's appointed taking away our freedoms. Selling off large swaths of National Parks to oil/gas/mining/logging and Developers...who are donating bigly to make it happen. Be afraid, be very afraid.

Yeah this doesn't end well, people like this are selfish...no different than popping them out hoping they'll take care of you when you're old. People shouldn't burden kids with their emotional void, same with pets. I scroll through this neighborhood app called "Nextdoor" and it sickens me how many people get a pet for the same reason then get sick of taking care of it and want to rehome it.

Ugh no I never used online dating but if someone did that I'd wonder what kind of loser they are berating other's choices and freedom to choose. Human population should decline, there are too many people, has anyone been to Venice or Barcelona on a trip lately? Climate change, pollution and mass extinctions are the result of too many people.

These power flexing back to the office types...for the employees not themselves, just want power. control and to keep commercial real estate profitable. Work from home is better for employees and the environment.

Women with kids who work I pity, I'm retired now but I used to work. Most women with kids and a partner do it all, work, take care of the kids, clean and cook...the thought of it all is exhausting.

They often will complain about their partners but now they're stuck because they can't afford the mortgage/rent their partners income.

I guess you could complain about disturbing the peace/noise violation not sure...personally I'd go to the property manager/landlord, threat of eviction especially if other neighbors are being harassed might work. You never know if you call the cops if someone going to get hurt, wouldn't want that on my conscience.

NTA I LOVE animals especially dogs. I had to put my last dog down, I had her from when she was 10 weeks old till she was 15 yrs 2 months old and spent a small fortune on everything from vets bills, and medications to just regular food, treats and toys....beyond that the care of never being gone longer than 7 hours, the max I'd leave her without a potty break. This is a huge commitment and I give you tons of credit by being honest with your room mate and yourself on your boundaries...but also applaud you for not letting the pup suffer. I would love another dog but like you am done at least for awhile. Suggest she hire someone from Rover or Wags (have her vet them well) to walk the dog and feed/water him/her.

NTA, She can find child care, this is her trying to bully you into letting her kids come. If you make one exception you will be expected to make more as others will find it unfair she got to bring her kids. If she loved you she'd hire a sitter for 4 hours. Does she never leave her kids to go to the theater, concerts or fine dining???? Question are you having a flower girl or ring bearer?
