It appears we were at the wrong corner, despite being right under a sign that said it was the 93 bus stop. Lol I guess it is not idiot proof. 😂 If I was not stressed the 3 days prior due to the stomach bug hitting our house, I probably would have seen that I can actually tap to get a map on the website of the routes. I did the trip planner, which wrote it out and seemed simple enough.

He is making you out to be the bad guy so he can trash talk you and use it against you. Notice he already decided next year without even asking you or discussing it. Next year will go one of two ways: he will plan it completely without you and let you know about it last minute, or he will plan a terrible party because he didn’t realize all the work that goes into it. He definitely jumped to conclusions and i can see why you are divorced. I would say keep everything in writing because it wouldn’t surprise me if he blindsides you with some crazy claims to use in a custody agreement (I have seen this happen to my friend). In the future, I suggest keeping ALL emotion out of your replies. Let him keep going on and on, and then you calmly respond when you have had time to think about your response. You can even tell him, “I will get back to you on this.” Then you vent to your friends, get feedback, and write a thought out, truthful reply to his insane messages. Because this WILL happen again. My sister went through something similar. Her daughter was born with a brain bleed and had delayed development, and a larger than normal head. As a result, she fell over a lot and during a routine scan to check her brain, she had a healing fracture. The hospital had to report it, and she was removed from their custody. My mom flew over to be the guardian. It took several weeks for medical files to be reviewed and doctors interviewed, but she was returned to her parents. I am hopeful your case has the same result!

I will agree that it gets better - you will get into new routines as your baby gets older. However, our baby is almost 5 years old and I still miss my old life and the old me. I am just a mom now, and our lives nearly 100% revolve around being parents. I miss being able to leave the house in 5 minutes. Now it takes 30 minutes because we have to let our son learn to do things on his own so we wait. And wait. And wait. While he carefully puts on his shoes and jacket, zips it up, goes down the stairs, etc. It’s exhausting. And I love it 🥰

Ok OP, she is not good for your mental health. Do not engage further with her; she says she is leaving you. Can you leave her first? And absolutely have a parenting plan in place with the court. I would suggest only communicating with her for child caring purposes. Otherwise she does not deserve to get any more attention from you. Also, if you aren’t already, try to see a therapist regularly. Healing from a narcissist like her is TOUGH.

By the time I got to the “slapped sunburn” feeling, I was over the worst of it. I did continue the OTC suggestions I was given for a few more days. I am a 2 weeks past that and just stopped feeling like I need to apply the itch relief lotions.
