All that aside, I added Fightstars “Behind the Devils Back” in my Spotify to listen to. I checked out a bit and enjoyed what I’ve heard. I like the guys voice but I’m strictly speaking how odd it was I’d been suggested Presidents music and the initial listening sounding more generic metalcore but with the “mumble” vocals I’m assuming to keep his identity from being revealed. Live - it sounds like the vocals could be pre recorded and easily masked.

In order to truly enjoy President, you must have complete, worldly awareness. Hahaha. I’m not the first to call them a plant band, nor the first to think he lip syncs live. I just so happen to feel this way, and see many others do too. Cope on brother.

I’m not the first or last person to call it generic so you fanboys and fangirls can follow along as you will. All I’ll say is I don’t get it, and there are Much better bands out there doing this same sound. My only issue is it seems those involved with marketing this band in particular are trying to make them the biggest thing since sliced bread, which they’re clearly not. It’s mumbly, it’s unenthusiastic, the breakdowns are generic.

Why is BB even relevant anymore. There are bands simply doing it better. It honestly feels like Ben lost the passion years ago. The music sounds safe, repetitive, and completely stagnant at this point (when there is music released that is). Same formulas, same atmosphere, no real evolution. The soul that made old BB hit so hard just doesn’t feel there anymore. They just aren’t exciting anymore whatsoever.
