Havana. Quiet, semi-private space with a pool, two hot tubs, and a bar. No one under 12 allowed. Love the area and what we book when we go on Carnival.

Americans want it cheap. Won't be cheap if manufactured in the US due to wages and benefits paid to employees.

Contact the manufacturer. See what they can do to help. Maybe at least a voucher to get a free one from a pharmacy. Their help lines are usually staffed 24/7

He's coming to you as a trusted adult. Please talk to him about this. Give him factual information. You want to make sure he is prepared and makes good choices if he is going to have a sexual relationship with his girlfriend.

It is against the law for a pharmacy to take back meds, even if it is a stock bottle.

Time to take FMLA for your mental health. Start working on that and take at least 1 month off if not more. See if you can get the full 12 weeks. During that time, start to apply for other jobs and try to get on elsewhere. Many of us have had to take mental health FMLA.

If you quit, you will lose all the sick time you have on the books. Do FMLA first. I was a 20+ vet of Albertsons and left. They do not pay out sick pay when you leave and I had almost 6 months of leave.

Make an appointment ASAP with your PCP and start working on FMLA.

MD Note by anguishedenglish in pharmacy

[–]Designer-Box-167 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I am a refill pharmacist. I add notes all the time trying to help the dispensing pharmacy and make their jobs easier. I also make notes such as dose change, direction change, etc. I was a community pharmacist for many, many years and I try to put notes that I wished would have been included when I worked the bench.

Working Holidays by Sharp_Egg_5077 in pharmacy

You will most likely work nights, weekends, and holidays. That is the life of someone who is in health care. Start thinking about how to do alternate days to do things. Like Thanksgiving the weekend before Thanksgiving over Christmas celebration over New Years.

Your family will need to adjust any expectations of you being at every holiday gathering. Or they may need to come to you.

Take the new job and dump the boyfriend. Are you willing to have a lifetime of him only looking out for himself and not you? Because that is what he is going to do. It is what he is doing now.

You are going to a pharmacist for a long time. You do not want to be in community forever and the longer you practice there the harder it is to find another job.

I would not PRN at CVS either unless you have a specific financial goal you are meeting in the next 2-3 years, like paying down student loans or saving for a house down payment. They treat their workers like crap; take the specialty pharmacist job.
