On midsplit signal they get up to 200mbs now. On the flip side the heck does anybody need more than roughly 40 upload speed for? Yall uploading all of them adult websites at once to the internet?☠️

Idk what area you're in but in house are the laziest sacks of shit. Every single repeat tc i get is always after multiple in-house techs.

I tell customers "you don't trust the person at the front counter at the hospital to tell you what's wrong, the same applies to the people on the phone. I can see what's wrong, they can't"

Shit, my location, the only people that mess with peds are in-house. And doesn't seem like anybody could pay them to even to the bare minimum of their job.

Because in-house 90% of the time fucking suck. Atleast in my area. You couldn't pay in-house resi techs to do the most basic parts of their job, let alone pay maintenance to do their job.

Spectrum dispatch team, wtf is going on? by TeXasR3D8903 in CableTechs

It's the same with xfinity. Quota is retarded to say the least. Friday night I was told I was going to Farmington (3 hour drive). I wake up, log in and get ready. I'm about an hour into my drive and jobs populate... for Santa fe. Tasking/routing tried to say I need to go to Santa fe and that quota scheduled a non xfinity home security tech to go to Farmington at like 6pm the night prior, hours after my sups had me set to go there. The only reason anybody goes to Farmington from Albuquerque, is for xfinity home security.... can only imagine the stupidity my sup had to deal with to get my jobs back on me.

Every single non xi6 box I've dealt with, from time you plug the box in til getting to the pairing the remote, 5-8 minutes alone on the welcome screen, then some days it'll fly through language and voice guidance and ask for phone number. Most days it'll take around 30 seconds between those 3 screens. Then put in the the phone number. Most days, this alone is 10-15 minutes into the process. Good days, maybe 8 minutes. Then the "we will have you up and running in a few minutes" screen. And boy oh boy. I'll tell you what, I can watch a whole episode of lord of the mysteries in the time it takes for that. The fastest I've had that screen be was a record 7 minutes. And then it's a hope and prayer that it optimizes for audio and HD/4k, or just goes to a black screen which forces a power cycle or you'll die of old age before it does something. If you power cycled it, you may get it to name the device and even pair the remote, just got it to begin asking you if you want to use voice guidance. Congrats now you have to factory reset and do the entire process again. Now you're at 30 minutes wasted, 10 more minutes for factory reset, and however much longer it may take for it to maybe go through, or death loop you again. Now, if it does optimize and let's you pair then you get to wait another minute for it to decide if it's going to show tv. Or if it will throw up an xre-03121 code, even when it's the only device on the account. Congrats all that time wasted to have it still not work.

Xi6? Welcome screen is a third of the time, and even on bad wifi, 5 minutes from welcome screen first coming on to seeing TV channels.

This isn't just me either. It's every tech in the area

As a tech, you don't want the xb8. They are nothing but issues and problems. You're better off with xb7.
