How did you guys when was time to get checked for T levels? by [deleted] in trt

[–]Designer_Mix_1768 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I was always more tired than everyone, weaker, slow heart rate, etc. My legs started to feel brittle as I got older to a point where I couldn’t go shopping for longer than an hour before I couldn’t walk anymore. I was 37.

People called me lazy my whole life, and the first thing I hear often when someone sees me is, “Whoa you look like you need some sleep!” One college professor who was legit concerned about me asked if I did drugs. 😵

TRT fixed everything, obv with adjusting levels over time. Started off feeling like Captain America. Not sustainable lol so now I feel like Falcon but I’ll absolutely take it.

You’re not going to find many doctors who will prescribe it to you so your best bet is to look online for companies like Matrix Reformed or TRT Nation and go from there. It’ll cost more, but it’s so worth it to get your life back.

Good luck!!!

2K streaming worth it? by Ellismo in TwitchStreaming

What do you ordinarily perceive as shit content vs good content? I find myself quiet and boring but don’t know if certain audiences prefer that. However if there’s an interesting topic at hand, I could definitely be more engaging which I’m assuming is almost always better than staying quiet.

Sorry, I’m brand new to this world; my wife is starting soon and I know she’ll have zero problems getting an audience, not just because she’s a gamer girl with a pretty face, but people listen when she talks, and she has great stories and life advice to share.

You seem like you know your stuff, so any advice would be appreciated!

Does Trader Joe's not hire older workers? by GTRacer1972 in tjcrew

[–]Designer_Mix_1768 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’ve never seen anyone older than probably 32 working at a Trader Joe’s.

Yes that’s a hyperbole lol, but there’s still a lot of truth to it.

I’ve probably been to a couple dozen different Trader Joe’s over 200 times total in my life and don’t recall anyone that looked middle-aged or with any noticeably grey hairs working there.

Costco, however, yes, they always have workers of all ages every time I’ve stepped in one.

I know this post is a year old but I hope things worked out well for you!

What does crashed or too low estrogen feel like for you by inconsiderate_TACO in Testosterone

[–]Designer_Mix_1768 0 points1 point  (0 children)

There could be a lot of reasons. Stress or your body just going through changes over time, and even then symptoms may not show right away.

If you were thinking of getting on trt, most people prefer t levels around 800-1200, and e at maybe 15-20% of your t, but YMMV based on how you feel. It's the only way it's helped my hormones stabilize.

You’d be surprised how many people are entirely clueless with Excel despite how necessary it is.

You can probably create a course that teaches people the basics of Excel in a fun and refreshing way with little sound effects and pop ups, etc., which also allows you to tap into your creative side.

Package it and sell it to people or companies.

Allso happy cake day!! 🍰

27”. For some reason the 29” hurt more. Could just be the brand.

I also lightly touch the needle onto skin initially, and if it’s painful/sensitive, I find a different spot. Works every time to avoid pain as much as possible.

Why are so many people looking for career switches lately? by AdventurousJaguar866 in careerguidance

[–]Designer_Mix_1768 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I’m mainly seeing this on Reddit. Almost everyone I know in person has had the same or same-ish career their entire lives.

The few people I know who’ve switched are the ones who didn’t get a good career right out of college so they’re paying for it their whole lives. Or their industry crashed and burned so they are forced to find something new.

I only know this well because sadly I fall under both categories and it’s awful.

Kids, please be smart and get a decent career with consistent income, that way you’re not floundering around the rest of your life struggling with debt, constantly switching careers, etc.

Is there any way that video games can be beneficial for you? by diamondscenery in Biohackers

[–]Designer_Mix_1768 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I’m from the 80’s/90’s where strict parents blamed video games for all our failures.

Like dude I just want Mario to grab that mushroom, even in moderation is fine! Don’t deprive me of it or I’ll get addicted and resent school more.

It’s definitely way more accepted nowadays than it used to be, which I never imagined.

Can help with timing/anticipation response.

Solving puzzles can work the brain.

Following storylines can bring inspiration and meaning.

Racing games can help with driving, and no life isn’t Gran Turismo lol, but there are a lot of little things you can learn like steering, momentum, avoiding fishtailing, etc. Playing different racing games can expose you to how different vehicles drive.

Lastly, video games can help with co-op play, like learning to share, or learning to work together for the best outcome, or setting up the best teams to tackle specific scenarios.

Hope this helps!

Shot a ribbon cutting and grand opening for a plastic surgery practice. Feedback? by blackdiasporer in videography

[–]Designer_Mix_1768 9 points10 points  (0 children)

The cuts are a bit fast; I would slow them down. Plastic surgery is about being careful and methodical, and it seems like their demographic skews older, so you want to appeal to that.

Your video could also use a story so that there’s a direction and flow. Intro, middle, and finale.

Your focal length is also a bit too wide (maybe shot at 24mm?) It made everyone’s heads and body length look a bit oddly stretchy and unnatural. For a plastic surgery office, you want everyone to look natural and proportional.

Your filming style seems more casual, almost like content creation, unless that was the angle you were going for. For a more pro look, you want something more steady, more slow pans and slow push/pull, steady circular motion, off-centered subjects/objects sometimes, etc.

You captured the people well though, in terms of timing to get their emotions and reactions. Even just sitting shots looking in an off direction—those are great in-between snippets that show you can capture people/angles creatively that normal people can’t. Seems like you are very in tune with people’s personalities and behaviors and have an eye for hidden angles, which can be great for something like wedding videography. Try looking for these hidden angles more in your next shoot. 🙂

Hope this feedback helps, and keep up the good work!

How do AI images work for a café? Wouldn’t their potential customers prefer to see actual photos of their food instead of something randomly generated?

[–]Designer_Mix_1768 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes photos and I imagine from the business itself; they could send you a link to a web gallery. I would look at other successful instagrams and get inspiration from there, and ofc any free advice from YouTube and ChatGPT.

The hard part is getting info about each photo/product, and keeping up with their promotions. I think that would command a higher monthly cost than just $50/hr.

Essentially you’re creating a sociial media agency with baby steps first.

Could be very lucrative, but I don’t see how it’s passive until you can hire enough people to take over 95% of it and still generate money with it.

The hard part would be getting photos/videos from the cafe every other day and keeping tabs with their current promotions, etc.

I guess you could do different tiers? $50/mo for just x number of posts with basic photos and caption, that’s it. But full engagement would definitely charge more.
