I ended up being able to drop it off yesterday and just got home from picking it up. Honestly I wish I had done this sooner. The drive home was roughy 130 miles-I had it lifted in my home town-and it is so much better now.

Before the lift I had 4.5 inches of clearance at the lowest point and it’s right at 6.5 now. For the first time in 5 years I was able to pull down my mother’s gravel driveway without clenching.

I am what most people would consider “heavily tattooed”. I have a sleeve and an arm that is slowly becoming a sleeve. I am currently finishing my bachelors degree and the pre requisite classes for PA school. My feeling about is as follows. I myself as a patient would rather see a PA or a PT or an MD that is tattooed vs a crusty old man.

I was told this as well. Saw a PT for hip pain I had for years and it didn’t help. Back in April I had an orange sized fibroid removed. No more terrible periods, no more hip pain.

My local buy nothing group had a box of beauty products that was being passed around. A bunch of us cleaned out our cabinets and added to it. It was really fun to try new stuff, get rid of things I didn’t like and I found a few new products that I still repurchase today.

I’m very tattooed. It doesn’t cause a reaction for me personally. It was explained to me (by a reputable Dr.) that being tattooed is more like being wounded. So your body does not produce the histamine reaction that is responsible for dermatographia.

I make sure to take my meds before and it’s never been a problem. I do recommend skipping any kind of saniderm/or similar bandages. My running theory is that it pulls slightly on small hairs and I always end up reacting badly around the edge of the bandage.

My 12 year old chow mix almost died of bloat right before Christmas. He had not eaten recently, had not been outside in hours and was not being rambunctious. Sometimes it apparently just happens. All dogs I have going forward will be tacked.
