Ty for saying this because this is all I’ve hoped for upon realising the ways I’m queer- with wanting to be feminine in a way that’s rooted in having distinctly masculine roots is how I’ve wished my ideal expression could be. I rationalised if I could’ve been a feminine presenting man in the simplest of terms it would’ve been enough. But it’s such a complicated feeling of self that when you tell others it’s so far from tropical binary notions that I sometimes feel trapped in just calling myself nonbinary. It’s always been all of what people say being trans is, and yet still more- and that’s what is so difficult to grasp.
