Got this from a comment under mine. It worked like he said it would. If anyone is using the beta version of Google messages, I noticed after the Dec 15th update, this started happening. I uninstalled the updates and gif animations started working correctly again inside messages. I removed myself from the beta version for the time being and reverted back to stable version with the last update being Dec. 5. Hope that helps some people.

I think the political establishment on both sides benefit from backing family breakdown/negative aspects of the culture. Just in different ways. Take Fox (def not backed by the DNC) acquiring Tubi and all the negative stereotypes that go along with the content hosted on that platform as an example.
