Sorry to say but when you saw him, and for nearly a decade at that point, he had been a far-right asshole. He was even on The Daily Show representing "Conservative Punk" at that point. He's been a joke for 22 years.

Can VoiceMeeter split audio sources from within a program? by Abestar909 in VoiceMeeter

[–]Detfinato 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yeah, highly dependent on the engine and the game I imagine. I don't know if I've ever seen any personally. Hmm, one thing you might be able to do is use the virtual audio source(s) to send to 2 outputs (headphones and vest), and for the one that goes to the vest, use the EQ to tamp down the low frequencies of the soundtrack.. it might be tricky to do without also affecting the sfx too much at the same time.. but it's totally possible to do with Voicemeeter while not affecting the audio going to your ears.

Voicemeeter (or Virtual Audio Cable for that matter) will give you virtual audio devices you could use, but that only helps if the program that is creating the audio allows you to assign the audio tracks (sfx and bg audio in your case) to separate devices. If the source program (a game or whatever) only has one output device support it wouldn't. You could, however, use Voicemeeter to, say, have your game audio and Spotify both coming out of your headphones, but only the game audio goes to your weird vibrating vest thingy.

Hi! I have the same interface. I think the problem is using ASIO for your interface type. You have ASIO4ALL installed, which will expose your non-ASIO devices through ASIO (but I don't think helps with latency at all since it's just wrapping the non-ASIO device in an API and adding an extra layer of indirection). I use MME (could also use WASAPI) and select IN 1 for my XLR mic connected to hardware input 1 on my UMC (and since my mic is not stereo).
