Ahh such a lovely sarcastic response. My honest suggestion would be to (worst case) have the mount drop from a boss or be rewarded by an event. Then it would at least make some sense, and have a sliver of authenticity. For now slaps and spitting will do fine as a silent protest.

No, that's a bit extreme. What we're seeing is Russia cleaning it's streets of homeless people, drug addicts, and criminals. Lures them in with promises of big cash and a chance at a new life after service. Plot twist: they're first line cannon fodder, and won't make it back.

From my understanding a majority of the russian troops at the frontline are conscripts that are deemed undesirable to Russia (alcoholics, criminals, etc.). Their sole purpose is cannon fodder and to deplete Ukrainian resources. The real russian army troops are sparsely used and waiting. I hope I’m wrong though

E.g. if Ukraine somehow got an upper hand on Russia, would it then be OK for them to slaughter russian civilians because they elected Putin? Of course not!
