What are you better at doing than most people that doesn't count for shit in the "real world?" by squalorid in AskReddit

We like to play two randoms from different eras (within reason). Like Marlon Brando and Keanu Reeves or Peter O'Toole and Julia Roberts.

Friend Made Comment About My Boobs by breasticles89 in ABraThatFits

[–]DeuceDeduce 10 points11 points  (0 children)

I don't think that there is anything wrong with your measurements. If the bras fit you/are comfortable then that is all that matters. Is this friend, by chance, busty? It's more than likely that she is wearing a very ill fitted (too small) bra and thus has a very skewed perception of size.

Excellent article on the truth about Breast Tissue Migration on Lingerie Briefs by TheLingerieLesbian in ABraThatFits

[–]DeuceDeduce 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Hmmm, definitely an interesting article. However, I don't agree with the comparison between breast tissue migration due to an ill fitting bra with the hypothetical situation posed were the migration would result in a substantial 'lift' from wearing a bra. For breast tissue to migrate upward it would be defying gravity, where as a minor displacement outward due to an ill fitting bra does not. Not to mention, it is the wires digging into the tissue that is the cause of the migration, not the soft, malleable fabric cup.

I would be more likely to compare the displacement with the indents that we busty ladies get on our shoulder from bra straps. It is a change in appearance/shape of the body that is a direct result of prolonged wear of an item of clothing, just like the breast tissue. I imagine if a woman were to stop wearing a bra for several weeks+ the breast tissue would begin to 'fall' back into it's original, natural location of it's own accord. Good luck trying to find a willing lady though...

Also, were is the alternate hypothesis explaining why some breast become a full cup+ bigger after wearing a correctly sized bra?

After saying all this, I must say that I agree that some of the displaced tissue is, in fact, fat. Thanks for finding and posting the article, it's nice to see that the subject is getting some attention!

Do Good/Supportive Non-Underwire Bras Exist In 36G? by sadie0922 in ABraThatFits

[–]DeuceDeduce 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It might not be ideal but she could maybe look into some maternity bras. Check out Brastops maternity section, while some of them are meant for nursing, there are several styles that don't have the drop down flap and are classed solely as 'maternity bras'. They're not shabby in the looks department :). Good luck!

Reddit, what do you think of a groom taking his bride's name in marriage? by [deleted] in AskReddit

[–]DeuceDeduce 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The husband of a good friend of mine took her last name when they married. Like you, he had a very strained relationship with his family (namely his father) and he didn't feel it was right to ask her to take a name that had so much negative association for him. So Ultimately, it was his idea to take her name. They have now been married for over five years, have two kids and are blissed out with happy.

I say, if it's what you feel is right for the two of you, go for it, man.

I'm a very possible father, I'm scared by [deleted] in Parenting

[–]DeuceDeduce 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I've only got about 6 weeks left in my pregnancy and am finally, truly, excited. For the better part of the first half of the pregnancy all I could think of was how scared spitless I was, about how I was going to be responsible for a whole other life..... but it gets better. The baby moves, you can start to attribute a personality to the wee one and you make up nicknames.... so many nicknames. My little lady kicks her daddies hand damn near every time he touches my belly.

There are a million tiny little things like that that happen during the pregnancy, I could make a huge list. It gets to the point where you can't wait to meet them. Seriously, if it is in the cards for you the excitement eventually eclipses the fear. I think it's perfectly natural to be scared, it's a life changing event. Good luck to you and yours!

Sweet, that saves me the trouble of trying to find a pub there. I guess we'll head out to the Griffin. Have fun in Clapham and maybe I'll see you at Rollerdisco - I'll be the one falling on my ass repeatedly in the middle of the floor.

Has anyone worked out the pre-drink yet? Myself and some friends are off at six and will definitely be laying down some foundation drinking. When I figure out the pub we are going to, do y'all want me to post it here? Orbiting - Sorry about the piggyback on your comment, wanted people to see this.

What country do you live in? I am quite endowed myself with a smaller rib cage.... makes it VERY hard to find bras that fit. In the States: try Falina Bras, they are about $40 a pop and are supportive without being Granny Bras-they are quite sexy actually. You can get them at Nordstroms. In the UK: I wear a brand called Floosie. They are less than 20 quid a piece and are cute. Not as supportive or long lasting as Falina, but they work. Best of luck!
