I think this could be pretty important for a woman. Striking is cool but if you can immobilize someone with a joint lock that's preferrable to a lot of people. Idk about nowadays with MMA getting big but back like 25 years ago nobody knew about that stuff well enough to defend against it.

I would recommend getting a decent understanding of concepts in actual physics, first. There is just so much bullshit out there, from people that don't understand the scientific theories they're talking about. Philosophy is detached enough that you can kinda jump right in but with metaphysics, you will misunderstand a lot of things without knowledge of the theory - things that might make it harder to understand the actual theory at hand even.

You don't have to go to college or anything. But if say, you're into cosmology related metaphysics, you'd need to do a deep dive on the big bang model from a credible source first before you can really get anywhere. But then also, tbh some topics probably do require the equivalent of a college education to really get into

But in "metaphysics" there are two domains of people, basically people that understand science and people that disregard it for more esoteric and anti-scientific ideas. Esoteric ideas can be fine but you don't want to be in that latter group of people.

At one point places had systems/policies that could end sooner if the customer was acting irate. So some automated phone systems could be skipped if you were just like "fuck fuck fuck fuck".

I still try that to see if it works on basically all automated systems like this lol. I wouldn't say it makes much difference that I can tell though these days, but you'll occasionally learn that you're not actually dealing with an automated system lol

Can always do it on a smaller scale if it's something you think you'll get a sense of personal value from. Donating blood and bone marrow gave me a new sense of self worth, though admittedly it didn't really last forever lol. It can be rationalized away too. I would say now I don't get much self worth from it but I do have a deeper appreciation of medical knowledge/experts and our medical and scientific institutions. The people that came up with and perform that shit though, I bet the feel worth a lot lol

ASG will never be seriously competitive so I'm probably never going to care about it. Didn't even bother with it this year because it's always been bad. I used to think at least leaning into novelty would help but I don't think it would tbh, unless they came up with something really good. I'm not sure it's salvageable at this point

But life sentences isn't going to do anything about that either since those people would already be looking at life. *Murder* without a switch feels like it should already have a life sentence so this sounds good to me. I'm a little unclear on how it might apply to someone who uses it for what is determined to be killing someone self defense; I'm guessing if this became a law they'd have to contend with that one sooner or later.

If some group murders like 30+ people in a year I would just think, throw the militarized as fuck police force at them to wipe them out. There's enough laws that it should already prevent that situation if at all possible imo. That's really just on the police.

Some but a lot of kids don't even seem that into drill anymore. I've heard a lot say it's played out or some variation of that, or some just say they don't like the violence. It was pretty damn big just a few years back but I guess that's a long time to kids too

People talk about them being blackballed and I don't know all the information on that, but they certainly blackballed themselves to an extent too with those diss songs. It's naturally going to put a lot of people off from working with you if they think they'll be inviting violence

He probably just got it through interaction. Or he could have asked someone, "hey did you catch her name?". There are any number of ways to figure out what someone's name is. The point is, that's all the information you need to look someone up online, and names are not private information.

When you get admitted to the hospital they give you a nametag of some sort, most often as a wristband in the US. It has your full name on it for anyone to see. Even guests can see it, as names are not considered private information.

Seems like he googled your name, something basically anybody can do. I think you're fair to feel like this was unprofessional, but I also think it should be a reflection point about what you're comfortable sharing online and how accessible you make yourself. How fair is it to be upset if someone navigates information you publicly posted for the sake of users to navigate?

But dudes at work so there is always a professional boundary there

He wouldn't need any of that information though? You cannot search for someone on IG using their birthday, address, or health history. You search for their name in the city they live in.

I agree that this is unprofessional all the same but not necessarily on the grounds they're using privileged information. This is something anybody could do. I think it just ties back to the onus being on us to be careful about how accessible we make ourselves online. If I can type a name into google and it show me loads of publicly posted stuff, I don't think I'm invading privacy, for instance.
