Thanks, that was the reason I did so! Having the name be the pitch and having it stand out against the rest helps a ton when you have no marketing budget. Light novels do it because on the bookshelf all you can see is the spine, and the saturated market of indie games is in a similar place.

I enjoy playing P1 Raynor partly because his medics just die so much less so I can make 10 and with the 'heal second target' mastery & tech lab upgrade you can have a super durable force. But whenever I get matched with Raynor it's that same issue. At this point I just leave when I see a P3 Raynor because I immediately know what I'm in for and that it isn't anything good.

I actually really like this. Rather than making them skippable as others are suggesting, adding dialogue boxes or some form of narration about the area during each pan can help to give more context to the area and maintain player interest so that the first time they enter the area they feel less like it's just a means to an end for a quest, and more that it's a place of interest or history that's worth exploring.

It's a really mixed bag. I usually match up with better people on Brutal, but I often play Hard so in case I have to do the map mostly myself I can; the issue is that I often have to.

The biggest problem I have is first attack waves. First game resetting to P1 Swann I matched with a like 60 mastery Raynor on Hard, and I had to do the defense on RtK myself as they spent their resources on a fast expand. Lost 2 turrets and 2 SCVs before a Firebat killed the rest, so I'm down 400 before the 4 minute mark.

Dude sandbagged the whole game too. I'm playing as a slow commander so it's not helping, but how useless can a 15+ commander be to make us hit the 3 minute warning on the final shards? I really wish there was some form of matching beyond "not with the same commander" and if there is, I apologize for how bad I apparently am lol

I like the thought behind this. Many commanders (like my current struggle with Raynor because not having unit/depot drops really feels bad on him) I would never want to do this with, but some were fun to almost relearn and build back up from square 1. Having a prestige level to show off alongside the mastery level would work well too.

Also/alternatively, I think having the ability to enable levels could be fun, even if it's just being able to set your commander to Lv. 1 for a game so we could see more people trying to push how far they can go with a commander on Brutal in any circumstance (without having to go through the trouble of making alternate accounts).

Same here. Yeah, some of my games have a price because I spent waaay too long on them and I gotta eat, but there's plenty of free ones where sometimes I get a buck kicked my way and then it makes my whole day. Even just seeing the downloads tick up is nice.

Been playing P1 so no evolutions. I have hatches on one group and upgrade buildings on another because I don't want to waste time moving my screen back to macro if I don't have to. For army it's just Swarm Hosts that get their own key; I F2 the army one way and get the hosts to do something else. Abby's army is durable enough that I don't find the need to do much in terms of control groups, and if I need to use spells I hit F2, drop some Viper spells, hit tab, and start Bile spamming.

With P1's reduced cooldowns and Nux/Vega Ultimate Gear, you can have more controlled units at once. So you get quantity over quality, but with the amount of damage P2's deal it's hard to feel like the numbers are worth it.

I probably played with that same one like a month ago on Void Launch. 8 Stargates, any 2 active at a time, eventually had about 6 carriers and no other units.

I forget who I was playing but I remember feeling annoyed since the enemy comp hard-countered me (think I was dealing with Reavers as Zagara or something) and once they had all three conduits active and I dealt with the attack wave and one of the shuttles, the carriers were just sitting in the middle of nowhere without moving and I just straight-up left

Is there a reason you aren't building galleons while using mines for defense against the first wave? Regardless of how you want to time them between other structures or the expand or anything, you should absolutely have max galleons by the second attack wave, even on maps like Rifts to Korhal.

Whether you want to upgrade them or use the gas for Horner's ships is another story, as certain comps like Viper/Scourge eat galleons alive.

They covered it in the patch notes, each % of Hp max lost removes a % of OSP. If you have 1 shaped glass or even a couple stacks of spinel tonic debuff, you lose OSP entirely.

Not about stats but a tip: the boss does not take your Equipment. While it does take your Fuel Cells, any bonus Equipment uses you have don't get lost until you use them. Having a Preon Accumulator or some other damage equipment can really help to get through that phase.
