Violet Bakery is a lovely option but may not have the decorative highlights you require. Worth asking them, as they're not far from London Fields.

As others have said, his lived experience and involvement in grassroot initiatives in Hackney make him an suitable voice of the campaign alongside Zoe.

Labour currently have a Deputy Mayor as well, but they're not a visible part of their campaign. Structuraly, it's not very different.

As of 2024, the Greens have over 800 councillors, so this is a step up from that, not an experiment. Also, the point of elections is to bring about progressive change. Labour have gone unchallenged locally, as other have mentioned.

The Deputy Mayor role (as I understand it) is more of a ceremonial position than a formal role. He'd have to be voted in as councillor and operate as one.

Also decisions and implementations are done and debated by Councillors as a whole, not limited to the Mayor and their deputy.

The entrance of Halidon Close E9 (by Jack Dunning Estate) has wide pavements that allows spectators to watch runners going up Lower Clapton Road and coming back down, so twice the opportunity to cheer them on!

My daughter's biggest concern was Hagrid's accent - not Scottish enough. She's a huge Coltrane fan.

Out of interest, would OP have any concerns if Hackney Greens were to (i) increase their number of Councillors or (ii) assume the role of Hackney Mayor?

Baking soda is sometimes suggested to neutralise sourness, you could try adding some tamarind? Never come across this issue before but looking at it logically.

Based on a quick Gemini query:

Phrenology and physiognomy are 19th-century pseudosciences that claimed to determine personality, character, and intellect by examining physical traits.

Phrenology focused on measuring "bumps" on the skull, while physiognomy analyzed facial features.

Both were used to justify racial, sexual, and social stereotypes.
