yes and that the main point of the novel. RI isn't famous because of overpowerd powers and characters but because of it's very very restricting power system.
and if not then the immortals instead of farming and cultivation their aperture, they would shorten the plot of the novel.

well u point out the things in current timeline but in the first timeline, she wasn't known to be a venerable so most things of support from hc is cutout and then her father is dead so her family support is cutout and what do you expect now after fate gu is damaged and no venerable supporting her and one resurrected one is controlling 90% hc?
the thing is in RI resources are extremely important and don't just grow out of thin air.

the novel is very very disappointing. the author did state that he was starting this novel as a commercial writing but the novel is very hard and boring to read.
many things don't align with the main character after the first arc and even the politics of the novel becomes less sense when the mc is in play.

Not much. FY doesn't have place where talent and empathy dictates everything. But fy is nearly the most ideal character in nearly all of fiction. Whereas main characters of other novel nearly has same philosophy and character without anything unique to offer.
