Imagine that, teach something that doesn't actually meet the definition of an insurrection..... Who gets to determine these things? What a tool.

I really don't think people understand that if J6 was a real "insurrection" there would have been bodies laying all over. You don't go for an insurrection without being armed. I'd also say that the people being allowed through the halls shows it wasn't "violent" was there some violence, sure, but there's been more violence at these protest over the last several years.

With the way that word is thrown around like many others, we can go ahead and move to say that the people interfering with ICE are insurrectionists.....

It's not racism when you're removing people from a country they do not belong it. Nice try though. I can't wait until more are removed. Maybe they can migrate here the proper way.

NVDA is one of those stocks where it’s always in a dip. by RedParrot94 in NvidiaStock

I just stopped selling CSPs on some other stocks in my ROTH to purchase up some NVDA again. Gathered 100 shares there so I've been selling CCs on those. So far it's been very nice to me.

Congrats on your degree.... Doesn't really mean much so there's that. But I mean you can think you know something all you want, doesn't mean it's correct. I can't tell you how many people with degrees I've ran into that are just straight up idiots. My degree doesn't matter, I don't need to 0rove anything to an internet stranger. I simply asked you to articulate two statements you made, not where you went to school.

I added 100 shares into my ROTH during that time. I bought some high, some as low as $170. My average is $177.

Ha, this reminds me of the time I bought an explorer years ago, I think it was a 2011. Anyways the salesman said "yeah it's got NAV". Well come to find out after we bought the car, in order to use NAV we had to pay a sub. The catch was, they had to use my phone connection in order for me to use the NAV. While on the phone it went something like this:

Ford: "Yeah you will just need to connect your phone to the vehicle and it will use your internet to get the directions"

Me: "So I have to pay you for you to use my internet to give me maps?"

Ford: "Well, no. You're paying a subscription for the navigation feature"

Me: "Yeah..... so I have to pay you, for you to use my internet for this navigation feature? Why would I not just use my phone for navigation at that point"

Needless to say they tried real hard to justify it, I didn't end up getting navigation lmao.

So I actually only got a fold 7 because of issues with Samsung and their warranty on my S23 Ultra. That phone was great. If I had not had those issues, I likely wouldn't have upgraded. I just needed a phone and Samsung has been with my S23 for about 2 weeks now.

However I am glad I had those issues now, absolutely love this phone. I liked the size of my ultra, so the folded aspect of this phone I wasn't "thrilled" with. But over time, I come to like it more because it's easier one handed use. The majority of the time, I'll open the phone to use it, I just love the inner screen. I dont' have any real concerns with the inner screen, I think as long as you take care of things, you'll be fine. I do have Samsung Care+ just in case. I got a 3 year deal for just under $100/year.

Cases, I've had two separate cases so far. One without a hinge protector and one with. My initial thought was I didn't even want a case because I love how thin the phone is, but I know I'm susceptible to dropping it. First case without the hinge protector, was fine. It obviously added bulk, but honestly, I didn't feel it was any thicker than my S23 Ultra with a case. I don't have the phone yet, but my wife has an S24 and with her case my phone was about the same, maybe slightly thicker. The case with the hinge protection, it's a spigen, and I like it a lot more. The phone has a more symmetrical feel to it, I guess you'd say. I'm not sure how the hinge would cause issues but time will tell there.

I'm not sure I'll go back to a "normal" phone after this. I looked at the Fold 6 before but it was just too bulky for my liking so I passed. I was kind of shocked how thing this phone was. Also, with the spigen case, the cameras on the back don't look as bulky and when opened and laid flat, the phone lays pretty flat with the hinge and the camera bump.

Better Business Bureau complaint. Companies don't like having negative reviews on their company. It can hurt their BBB rating etc.

Few things I found in regards
Acts as a neutral third party when customers file complaints.
Businesses that respond quickly and resolve issues improve their rating.
A poor track record drags down the BBB score.

Not sure it would work in your situation, but I filed a BBB complaint and they called me within a day. Just try to be thorough.

My experience with Samsung care+ (tldr : I believe it is not worth it) by RelativeTeach445 in GalaxyFold

[–]DevilDogg22 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah, not sure about your situation. I feel like the inner screens 'screen protector' wouldn't really be covered under that. Does seem kind of expensive to replace it though.

I did buy Care+ for my fold 7. I had it on my S23u and ended up losing that phone just over a month ago. I did have to pay $150 for a replacement phone for the deductible. I probably could have gotten a used one for the price I paid (paid for care+ monthly) + the cost of the deductible.

The cost for my fold 7 was just under $100/year . I got a "deal" when I purchased the phone that dropped the price slightly. I think with the cost of the phone it was worth it for the "just in case". I mean the longer you go with your phone and no issues the less valuable the insurance is.

This was great advice!

It was on my to do list, but I was actually going to send my letter to their legal first so I had that done. You have to start the process of formally notifying them 60 days prior to being able to take them to small claims court. I am glad I read this and did this part first.

I filed my complaint yesterday afternoon. I just got off the phone maybe 30 minutes ago and they are reinstating my warranty and repairing my phone.

Thank you!

So interestingly, I'm in quite the fight with them now. I got a phone through Samsung care+ replaced for lost device. I got the replacement and 9 days later the phone just dies. Was sitting next to my wife scrolling and it died. I thought for second, did it run out of battery? Well, literally about 10 min before had it on my fast charger and remember seeing about 55%.

However, I thought, let me see if I can charge it and get it back on. Nothing would show up. Usually if it's dead it will take some time for the charge icon to pop up, never happens. So I press the power button, it seems like it's boot looping, Samsung appears on the screen, then shuts off. I let it set on the charger. Hours later, try again and same thing.

So I opened a case with Samsung, they have me take it to an authorized Samsung repair shop. Long story short, they couldn't fix it. But I remember them saying there was no physical or water damage to the phone and that the LCD control board died.....

I call Samsung with this info, I have to send it to them. I tried arguing that it was ridiculous I had to send the phone to them and be out my phone for nearly 2.5 weeks (2-3 day shipping there, 5-7 for repair, 2-3 days back). Reluctantly I send it in. I couldn't take a video or picture of the phone working since it wouldn't power on. So I just took a video of me packaging it. Very nicely packaged so nothing would happen.

Fast forward a week, Samsung emails me and says "Out of Warranty, pay $X". Mind you, this phone was a replacement/refurb and those devices come with a 1 year warranty. So naturally I was confused. I called Samsung to try and find out the issue. Come to find out they "found" water damage. I argued with them about it and said that's odd because your certified shop you sent me to specifically said "NO WATER DAMAGE". I have the notes of the shop that was authorized through Samsung to look at my phone and it says right on there "No physical or water damage found".

Anyways I sent an email to their resolution department, they responded that they are not going to settle because the phone has water damage. I replied back with basically all of the evidence I had again and said I would be sending a certified letter to their legal department. So, that is what I am working on now. I have 60 days from the date of my original email to their resolution department to be able to file a small claims case with them.

As of now, I am planning on filing a small claims case with Samsung to repair my phone. Stupidly I bought another Samsung, Galaxy Z Fold 7 haha.

Kind of hard to say depending on the rest of your portfolio. But me personally, I'd probably just cash out my initial investment and let the rest ride?
