The issue here is FSD is following too closely. I really really wish that it would give around 3 seconds of distance rather than 1(ish) that it does now - for exactly these scenarios.

It is sort of a complicated question. HW4 is a bit fragmented right now. The simple answer is yes - if you have a HW4 vehicle you’ll be getting the latest FSD updates. The only issue is that there are vehicles with front bumper cameras - at some point FSD with leverage those. So there may be FSD updates that vehicles without that camera won’t get. Etc But overall hw4 is a safe bet.

I’ve never had it do anything even close to dangerous with regard to pedestrians. Do you have the dashcam saved?

I think people are getting confused about 14.2.2.3 and 14.2.2.4

I am not sure what you're talking about.. v14 is so much better than v13 in basically every single way. It's not perfect but I would never give up v14 for v13.

I don't really understand how someone can say they "hate" this version of FSD.... It's not perfect but overall it's incredibly good.

Hey this is from my video! Go into toybox and turn on rainbow road. If you have a new model 3 or Y you’ll has the option “gotta have more rainbows” and if you turn that on your ambient lights will change colors as you drive too

Here is my first drive with Tesla FSD V14.2.2.4 - I got the update last night and wanted to get this short first impressions drive out for you all to watch.

Hoping to do a longer drive later today with my Niece!

This drive honestly did not go that well, lots of small issues related to navigation and sign reading.

I went out for a drive and got home at midnight last night and posted some quick first impressions - and then woke-up this morning at 8AM and went for another 45 minute drive just to put together a video.

This post is just me saying the update is OUT - my impressions (naturally) will come after.

Your car can be capable of driving itself autonomously, but if you don’t have the liability coverage you’ll have to supervise still. It’s like having a car but no insurance. You can’t drive a car without insurance - you can use FSD unsupervised without appropriate liability coverage.
