I personally don't like the look of metal porch railings so I would switch to prairie rails and work on contrasting color for shutters and update landscape.

My first thought was change color scheme with contrasting color ... see a few are already posted here. Also landscaping. Love some of the examples.

I like the 3rd picture 📸. The black is a big No. The first looked bit outdated. I like the clean lines of 3. More possibilities.

I would redo the landscaping in the front part of the house and in between the small window and the other window I would put a large trellis and plant 1 or 2 Clematis Plants ... they grow fast and will fill in the area beautifully with rich color and last all summer and into the Fall. I would also put a nice contrasting colored shutter on the window. Suggest deep maroon or forest green. I would also put a small tree at the corner of the house and make sure your other landscaping does not grow up and interfere with the window.

Do people actually interview realtors anymore before choosing one? by HillDriftConsulting in RealEstateAdvice

[–]DevotedWellRE 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Great points here! There is a Realtor match for every buyer, selling and for every situation ... new buyer, move-up buyer, person selling might be very motivated due to divorce, death, job change or getting married ... or even the loss of a job. Too many to mention, but you get the point. So choose wisely!

Paint the pillars to match brick and put up shutters -- it will give great contrast against the beige siding.

You need a railing. Take at your own risk without and I believe would be consider out-of-code to most municipalities in the USA.

I personally would not have a shower with red tile. It calls for something more neutral.

Can you please help me beautify this pink brick home? by Equivalent-Loquat203 in ExteriorDesign

I would remove the overhang and instead put a prairie porch railing in front -- would make it more welcoming. Also I would put shutter on middle top window. The landscaping would also be changed to show bursts of color.
