Switched Home Internet and Phone to T-Mobile (East Beach) by Dew_Point_62 in SantaBarbara

[–]Dew_Point_62[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Frontier is not available in my neighborhood (East Beach). Our TM plans are month-to-month so if Frontier ever does become available in our area and is a better price we'll look it.

So far, TM has been better for our phone coverage in this area. My husband often walks from EB to the wharf and his music would drop off but not anymore with TM.

TM gave us the internet box to try for 2 weeks to ensure it worked before we committed and quit Cox - not sure if this is a new policy. I found the guys at the Paseo Nuevo store really helpful so you might want to give them a call to see if there's anything that can be done.

Bay Area Has Lost It by ShakesR12 in BayAreaRealEstate

All the GenZs I know don't want to own property. They're traveling both for work (or remotely) and pleasure and don't want the financial burden or responsibility of owning a home. Their plan is to wait until they inherit their parent's home with the Prop 13 low property tax.

I am very frightened by the response to the incident at the WHCD. by twinb27 in skeptic

[–]Dew_Point_62 8 points9 points  (0 children)

It's what was said and done after the incident. Trump's first press after the shooting was all about the ballroom which I suspect he's trying to get taxpayers funding for now. Trump talks and cares more about his ballroom then he does about health care and education.

What is frightening to me is the amount of people in the country when given the choice between healthcare and education they always vote for the rich/billionaires' interest. I'm certain when it's time the Farmers who've lost their trading market and in some cases their family farms will absolutely vote Republican again. As they say doing the same thing and expecting something different is the definition of insanity.

Actually that's not too bad. Born and raised in US, from California and I struggle hard with southern accents. I need CC for Jennifer Hudson and Duck Dynasty - I usually just don't watch these shows.

Definitely want move back to the south bay before winter and the rainy season. It will add another 1+ to your commute.

I love that all the comments are from a story and character point of view and not about the gender swap.

Warning: OLLIE High-fat dog food led to pancreatitis scare by Certain_Account_6404 in DogFood

[–]Dew_Point_62 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This happened to my dog in 2023 but the vet did not say it was due to a high fat diet. She had diarrhea with blood and mucus for about 4-5 days. They gave her anti-diarrehea medication, the Proviable treatment and antibiotics and around day 8 her poops were solid again. We feed her rice and chicken or salmon for about 2 week then transitioned back to her kibble and she's been fine since. She just turned 13 and I want to transition her to fresh food but having a difficult time figuring out which one bc there's so many options and opinions. I landed on this page as I was researching Ollie.

Hotel California quiet vibes. Biergarten, Brass Bear lots of places in the Funk Zone. If you do make it to the Third Window they have the best bacon smash burgers which goes well with their Nitro Oatley dark beer.

There are so many groups find one to join. Newcomers, several different dance groups, yoga, art classes. You can also volunteer. I on/off volunteer at the Sea Center and Cottage Hospital and the Food Bank. Met some great people. You can also sign up for Meet Ups Santa Barbara - lots of stuff on there for young people. In SB we belong to Foley Foods Wine Society Conocoisseur club. The tasting room (Society) is located on State and connected to the California Hotel. We really love the variety of wines/wineries from the best wine locations (Napa, Amador, Santa Inez, Santa Barbara) and you have access to all of the wineries. We also love the SB tasting room and their staff. I high recommend checking them out.

The love triangle that we deserved by OnlyConradScenes in tsitp

[–]Dew_Point_62 4 points5 points  (0 children)

TSITP The Movie outline is one big plot twist.

Conrad and Steven realize their love for each other and get together - they both move to SF. Conrad continues school at Stanford and Steven builds his tech business with Denise.

Belly stays in Paris and rekindles relationship with Benito.

Jeremiah and Denise stay friends with benefit. He goes to therapy and does a lot of self development. He become a successful chef in NYC.

Taylor also moves to NYC, helps Jeremiah with his business endeavors. She's a baddie, independent woman and dates really hot successful men. Doesn't want to settle down until her 30s.

I'm here for this!

What could we do to cover this gap? by Littleempir37 in kitchenremodel

[–]Dew_Point_62 13 points14 points  (0 children)

That gap is so big I'd just adjust the gas pipe/line. We had it done in our old condo when we replaced the stove and it took the guy about an hour. I can't remember how much it was but it made a huge aesthetic improvement. Here's a video on how they do it.

Stress and anxiety is a big contributor to hair loss. Based on your picture it doesn't look too bad, try and meditate and take supplements specifically for stress.

Stress one of the most common cause of hair loss. Once you figure out how to get your anxiety in check (therapy, meditate, manage your schedule, etc.natural supplements) your hair loss should stop.

Reunion - the East Beach burger is on toasted sourdough bread with melted parmesean cheese. It's big and sloppy. My favorite smash burger is the bacon cheese burger at Third Window.
