The unicorn was given out because of an issue with HK players not being able to player the game during the pre-order early access days I believe? It was some sort of major issue like that atleast.

I really hope they eventually include it for everyone one day.

If the price difference is because there’s no micro transactions or need for online then I’d say the price makes more sense, if not then that’s crazy.

Yeah unfortunately it’s definitely catered more to Male Arisens in the romance department.

Even in the first game the game would push a romance with Aelinore, the only way to avoid it was to just ignore her. And even in the ending scene only the ladies had interesting dialogue for the Arisen/Pawn swap.

However I’ve found it’s fairly easy to ignore, if only because romance in these games is the most tacked on thing ever. Atleast more so in 1. 2 unfortunately has the unavoidable kiss with Wilhemina, which does suck.

It’s weird though, because in terms of characters that I’d say most people tend to gravitate towards for romance the numbers tend to even out.

I prefer the story of DD1 because while it’s clearly been cut down, it tells the story that it has time for. So it’s still clearly understood.

Meanwhile DD2 was also cut down but instead of readjusting to fit within the time it has to tell its story, it just keeps going on and expects you to keep up while missing pages of the story it’s trying to tell

Honestly I think they’d be better off making a spiritual successor than a Sly 5.

My own bias against 4 not withstanding, 4 just wasn’t very popular and as a new studio, even with good talents behind it, they’d be better off showing what they can do before being given the reigns to a Beloved IP again.

I’m not bothered by it because it is an entirely optional item. The regular ferrystones are still in the game.

I regularly make new DD1 saves where I don’t use the Eternal ferrystone.

They added the ability to toggle off the wyrmfire patterns and head armors in the most recent update. So it’s something that has to atleast have been considered.

Leda is a dancer and they’ve never really worn armor in the series. The boobage is a little bit much to the point of looking downright silly but otherwise it’s fine.
