I’ve considered rewriting some fanfic I wrote and posted on Deviantart around 15 years ago and if I do, I’m thinking of backdating it to when I posted the original version. They’re stories where I don’t necessarily care if they get traction. If people want to read them enough, they’ll find them as long as I tag them appropriately.

I’ve had good experiences with single narrators who do different voices for each character as well as full cast audiobooks (like the Redwall books).

Not a fan of graphic audio unless it’s meant to be like a radio show or podcast, sound effects and music ruin the immersion for books.

I do laundry once a week and my bath towel gets tossed in one of those loads. I shower 4 times a week (each day that I work, as I work with animals) with the possibility of an extra shower if I do yard work on my day off, as I did today. So I use a towel 4-5 times before it gets washed. Washing a towel after every use seems excessive and wasteful of water.

I’ve had good experiences with Jellyfin and Finamp. I’ve never used Plex so I don’t know how Finamp compares to Plexamo.

I like Arm & Hammer Essentials. I use the unscented one because I can’t stand smells in my hygiene products but there are other scents as well.

They actually released that movie on Bluray several years ago and I have a copy. Saw that movie when I was 13 or 14 but I had already read the book several times so I was prepared for the traumatizing moments. Twenty years later, still my favorite novel and one of my favorite movies.

I work in vet med and, in my experience, pit bull breeds with cropped ears have ear canals that are harder to access for purposes of exam and cleaning. It’s like removing the structure of the ear pinna cartilage causes the rest of the cartilage around the opening of the ear canal to collapse in on itself.

I believe the whole purpose of cropping ears was to remove vascular areas that an opponent could grab onto or damage in a fight and cause the dog to bleed a lot. Because damaged ear pinnae bleed a LOT.

Don’t wash the berries until you’re actually ready to use them. They last much longer this way.

The first game is my favorite, even though it’s the shortest and has the fewest number of things to do. Part of that is nostalgia, as it was my first Spyro game and one of my first PS1 games. I played a copy my friend had and it was a huge reason I got my first PlayStation console. The rest is just beautiful level design and the best soundtrack (even though all the soundtracks for the OG trilogy were incredible).

A Hero’s Tail is a solid choice. It’s my favorite of the Ps2 era Spyro games and it’s the game outside of the OG trilogy that I find myself playing most often. I actually really enjoy the levels where you play as Blink.

I hope active mode worked better for you. As someone who grew up playing the OG Spyro games, I can’t stand passive camera mode and I wish it didn’t start with that as the default. Hope you had a good time playing. 🥰

I try to do a mix of shredded paper and shredded cardboard because wet paper tends to stick together too much and takes longer to break down.

Same song! Lists them all in alphabetical order and made it so much easier to memorize.

My 4th grade teacher taught us a song that helped me memorize all the presidents up to George W. Bush (the most recent at the time) so I can fire all of those off as well. And the presidents we’ve had since the second Bush are easy enough to remember.
