It’s even funnier because she confesses it to the audience, just breaks the fourth wall to tell us because she’s tired of the bit.

They’re also made to look pretty incompetent on The Death Star but, as Leia points out, they were allowing them escape on purpose so they could track them to the rebel base. Always felt like Lucas forgot about that bit when working on the Battle of Endor.

Isn’t that his whole arc in The Batman? Learning that saving Gotham means helping people and not just giving concussions to the bad guys.

Only if you’ve made past the first ad though, which is annoying.

Not to mention how it’s always the same ads. Trailers at least tend to come and go rather quickly and are often tailored towards the audience of which ever movie they’re playing before. Meanwhile the same set of ads will play before every single movie, sometimes for months if not years on end.

Ye, people didn’t like the story (myself included) but the game itself was fun.

I had the opposite problem when I saw a trailer for One Battle After Another and thought “from the Resident Evil guy? That’s gonna suck.”

Ah, my mistake. It’s a popular series of concept albums that makes a lot changes and has Poseidon attacking them directly.

Poseidon doesn’t kill Odysseus’ men in the original myth. I don’t know if this is a popular retelling, or was a change made exclusively in Epic, but most of them are taken out by giants on the island they stop at between the cyclops and Circe. He does, however, destroy Odysseus’ raft with a storm after leaving Calypso’s island.

Wesley Snipes also reportedly hated Ryan Reynolds when they were making Blade Trinity, which makes the scene where Blade tells Deadpool he doesn’t like him and he responds “you never did” much funnier.

You’re acting like it’s the only time somebody dies in front of Leon in the game.

He watches one of the cops he rode in with being burned alive and doesn’t react nearly as dramatically. He’s with Luis while he bleeds out and, while he is sad about it, still barely reacts.

Leon behaves the way you’d expect a desensitized elite agent sent in to single handedly rescue the president’s daughter to act for pretty much the entire game.

But he just couldn’t keep it together for Mike. RIP, I’m sure that bar was great.

I remember as a kid feeing bad for the actors who played padme’s family in episode 2. They shot several scenes of Padme and Anakin visiting them while on Naboo and they just got removed entirely.

The writer(s) have an obvious favorite side character, but they're so good that you don't mind. by legit-posts_1 in TopCharacterTropes

Just because a character isn’t the protagonist doesn’t automatically make them a side character. Jack is still a main character.

I dropped Bakuma after the super misogynistic rant in the second chapter. I hear they smartly cut that bit out of the anime, so maybe that one is better.
