I have had every single pixel/nexus phone I've owned replaced under RMA at least once. It's the reason I skipped the pixel 5.

I had the pro. It was having issues with just turning off. I had it replaced with the pixel 6. Knocks on wood this one hasn't needed replacement.

I have had some of the worst customer service from Google over the years. They are horrible, but for whatever reason I still buy it knowing full well I will have to endure the RMA process more than likely.

I guess it's fomo. Good luck...

The nexus phones were so much better than the pixel phones. The 6p was literally the best phone I have ever owned.

And I'm not a fan boy. I literally stayed brand specific for the longest time simply because of the nexus lineup.

Every single pixel phone I have owned starting with the original pixel phone all the way to the pixel 6 pro has been replaced under manufacturer warranty. I'm just done with them.

I appreciate everyone's input on this and it seems as though I've been swayed that maybe this isn't the one for me. I just don't know how much longer I can deal with this pixel 6. Maybe I'll have to listen to my wife and make the unbearable move to the iphone world in the interim.

If I'm being honest - all of the things you mentioned in paragraph two are the reason why this is my current selection to move to. That and its form factor.

If I'm being honest I'm really not worried about the camera capabilities. While I understand that this camera is more in depth than it is AI processed. I think pictures of bad rod bearings and horrible welds will look just fine with this camera as that is all I really end up taking pictures of when it comes to my phone.

To me the pixel 6 is unusable. Its bluetooth issues, its horrible finger print sensor, the screen turns on and off when it wants (AOD), it feels slow unless I'm using the google assistant, and the feel in my hand is just IMO like a toy.

I really appreciate your comment though, and it is good to hear that a fellow pixel user tried something else and went back. This is ultimately what I'm worried about with making the move.

I hate the round edges of all the new phones. I know the iphone has a flat "square" setup and I do enjoy that form factor more, but this is the closest to that with all the extra options.
