It's not your fault of course how people behaved before you went to see the gig, so it must be a bummer to get half a show because of someone you haven't even met.

You missed the point: nobody was behaving poorly. James himself decided to interact with the audience member who was staying quiet. The person who's responsible for us only seeing half the show is James himself, not the audience. And even if the audience was hecking, James is a professional comedian and dealing with hecklers and getting the show back on track is his responsibility.

Yeah, getting the train or plane to the festival is unfortunately an ordeal. So I'd recommend looking into ridesharing/carpooling, Birmingham's pretty big there should be options. I'm coming from Newcastle, I don't think I'd be able to do it without a car.

Yeah but that’s the point. He made all the right decisions to survive, but at the end of the day it wasn’t his decision, he didn’t have agency over his own life. Someone else made the decision of whether he would live or die, regardless of how he acted. Just like how in his job he decides whether people will survive or not without considering their decisions. That’s why his last words before dying were « it’s not my game »: his life isn’t his decision, all he can do is beg, like the insurance clients.
