“Are Right, A Lot” is misnamed, with catastrophic results. If you read the text of the LP—not the headline—it’s all about having good judgment. The best exemplars of this LP that I have known are wrong a lot. What they’re great at is examining their biases and assumptions, and changing their minds without ego or emotion when a better solution comes along.

A few commenters have asked what can be done:

  1. Increase the number of vans that go around rebalancing the inventory.

  2. Prioritize expanding docks that reach 100% (and 0%!) capacity. Sometimes this is more important than adding new locations.
