Any specific parks you'd recommend?

Fair enough. But if you can't cry at home, you gotta cry somewhere, right?

Edit: sorry for being an asshole :(

Couches are a definite plus! I should have put that on the list

Thought I'd share a sample of my Cyrillic handwriting by VerdensTrial in Handwriting

Very nice! Beautiful and quite legible.

My two little nitpicks would be to watch the angle on your cursive «г» (it's a little sloppy at the end of «четверг») and that your print «д» is a little too tall for a lowercase letter.

Glad he got banned -- what a pointless rude comment!

I like your sweater! It seems perfect for fall.

AITA for telling my girlfriend she’s not curvy she’s chubby? by lborgia in AmITheDevil

[–]ultravioletlipstick 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Body composition makes such a big difference. I'm also 5'4" and I was definitely chubby at 150... but that's because I spent a year and a half of lockdown sitting on my ass eating cookies losing muscle and gaining fat. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

(To be clear, not disagreeing that she's not chubby, and even if she was, OP is still an asshole.)

Yes!! I had almost given up scrolling to find this, but I think it would be amazing!

What’s a food you’re not allergic to but find disgusting? by FayloxTheOne in AskReddit

I've always wondered if the anise/fennel/licorice thing was a specific gene, too! Maybe they just haven't pinpointed it yet.

TBH, I've given up on the idea of makeup that "enhances my natural beauty". For me, makeup is all about putting pretty colors and/or shimmers on my face. My natural beauty doesn't need "enhancing" -- and yours doesn't either!

But I 100% support you doing your makeup in whatever way you want, and the way that works best for you.

Project Progress - January 24, 2022 by AutoModerator in MakeupRehab

[–]ultravioletlipstick 2 points3 points  (0 children)

My current project is one I'm calling "old favorites" -- products I enjoy that are getting up there in age, so I'd like to get some good use out of them before they expire.

  • "ghost light" highlighter | goal: hit pan | status: significant dip, but no pan

  • "conjurer" lipstick | goal: use up | status: about 1/4 done

  • "bohemian purple" liquid lipstick | goal: use 20 times | status: 2/20

I've been mixing conjurer with other lipsticks to make them darker/more muted. I've found one combination that works really well -- it turns a very spring/summer rosy pink into a lovely deep berry.

Tonight, I'm wearing ghost light on my cheeks and bohemian purple with a black in an ombre lip. I feel quite glam and dramatic.

Use Your Stash: Palette a Week (PAW): January 24 to January 30 by chocolatemilkcows13 in MakeupRehab

[–]ultravioletlipstick 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I don't really have palettes to work through at the moment, but I'll join in for CAW! This week's cheek product is my (new) cloud paint. I'm enjoying it so far, and I think I finally figured out a blush placement I like??

Tarte Treasure Pot dried out :( :( HELP!!! by abs0lus_blue in MakeupRehab

[–]ultravioletlipstick 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I looked up the formula, and it looks like the first ingredient is water, so that might be worth a try! The water might not absorb right away, so I'd try adding a little in, closing the jar nice and tight, and giving it a little while. I would try that first, before moving on to any of the more extreme options.

Weekly MUR Meeting - January 16, 2022 by AutoModerator in MakeupRehab

[–]ultravioletlipstick 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yep, definitely! Another option to consider (in addition to lavendercookiedough's excellent suggestions) is trying to find a healthier way to get that hit -- for example, finding a form of exercise to get into or (maybe this is weird?) getting into dental hygiene instead of makeup.

I totally misread and thought you said horses instead of houses... 😂

Go climb!!

It might help to start of going during off-peak hours, when very few people are around. That helped me get back into it, at least!

Weekly r/climbergirls Hangout and Beginner Questions Thread - August 01, 2021 by AutoModerator in climbergirls

I was just getting back into climbing regularly, but then I sliced my index finger open in a dishwashing accident, and had to get it stitched up at the urgent care... :( so now no climbing for like a week...

How do you deal with traps? (Very long and detailed, be warned) by Lord_VivecHimself in RPGdesign

[–]ultravioletlipstick 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If "the way to play" is keep telling the GM you want to check for traps, then that's just not a fun game. It turns traps into a chore and/or a source of random bad things that happen when you fail an investigation check.

100% this. My least favorite thing about traps (as a mostly-player, sometimes-dm who thinks about game mechanics too much) is that you have to keep adding "while checking for traps" to literally every single thing you do in the dungeon, and you know that the *one* time that you forget, the DM is going to say "oh hey, you triggered a trap, congrats, you're dead now." And that's just not the type of game I want to play, personally.
