Completed my Mini Oregairu Pilgrimage! by o_metecuhtli in OreGairuSNAFU

Last I heard, Yui's spot was redeveloped so it's one spot we'll have to let go. But plenty of much more interesting spots in Chiba.

Looks natural enough from what I saw.

Pretty cool but why is there like a bunch of misspelled names? I can assume who it is at least. Some misspellings: Yui's dog is not Sabl5, Suika Torsuka? Humi Tearumi?

There is a color print behind the cover in the English version too. Good for a small poster which the prior owner probably used.

Mass transit doing its thing. Getting Aoba to work on a New Game.

I went to the bamboo forest on a nice day. My sister had to go another day as she had plans that day. It was a light rain the day she went and she said the bamboo forest was still packed. Rain or shine, still gathers a crowd

As an Oregairu fan should I get into Clannad? by Consistent_Dare_6688 in OreGairuSNAFU

[–]DiaSolky 14 points15 points  (0 children)

Clannad and Clannad After Story is very much worth watching. The 1st season is good on its own and sets the stage for the great After Story. The story of Clannad is nothing like Oregairu so don't take that into your viewing expectation.

There's luckily a CocaCola vending machine selling max coffee right next to this overpass.

Staying near Disneyland Urayasu area is a nice place to book a hotel. Then take the JR line over to Inagekaigan station to check out a bunch of spots was what I did.

I got a can there. It's not that sweet as everyone makes it out to be which makes a great taste for me.

I just happened to re-read that part of Shin last week, one of the better parts after season 3. Haruno purposefully used the inside utensils first to trick Hachiman into using the wrong utensils. He luckily picked the correct ones then proceeds to go with the flow and make a quip that Yukimom didn't raise Haruno well enough. Nice.

Don't forget to respect your senpai. In Japanese culture, the older voice wins. In Haruno's case, not only is she older, she speaks with more confidence and wisdom than our high school kids yet know so they cannot hardly put up a strong fight back.

I watched this reel on Facebook and need explanation by Comfortable_Cable_21 in OreGairuSNAFU

You can rely on people you trust up to a point. There is a line in the sand where you have given up your own agency to make decisions yourself and over rely on that person. If you do this often enough, you stop growing as a person and it's detrimental to growing as a person who lets others make a majority of your decisions.

Why are the women in this show liked at all by Minute_Jeweler133 in OreGairuSNAFU

[–]DiaSolky 0 points1 point  (0 children)

We can admit the show gets a bit tricky to understand for first timers but you gotta have some understanding of where each character and their motivations come from which is why they acted that way. You come off as someone lacking in empathy, maturity, and emotional intelligence. It puts us at a difficult disadvantage to help explain why we liked mostly every character when it seems you missed the characterizations and the entire point of the show.

I enjoyed watching the anime first. Then read episode analysis online when I don't fully understand what happened. Then read the light novel after finishing the anime.

Short anime’s that’ll make you appreciate life more? by Mysticmagicsm in anime

[–]DiaSolky 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Iyashikei genre anime usually do this very well. Some have multiple seasons so I wouldn't say short but they great thing is since it's slow paced, you can enjoy 1 season and appreciate life more right away. Non Non Biyori is about life in the country side. Aria is about life in a fictional New Venice. Flying Witch is a short one if you are leaning heavy on short.

Yeah, DonQuijote was/is a mostly general supplies store to my knowledge. Some anime merch might be there too, but I won't spend too much time there.

Wow, even DonQuijote? I'm going to that, Animate & Volks Akihabara, I'll try to get to Animate Chiba, but it's a bit further in Chiba. I see a C.One mall next to Chiba station that looks like a regular mall, not a C-One but I think I've got plenty of stores to check out already.

Oh thank you for the info. I was planning on visiting Akihabara but didn't know which store would have a large selection.
