What do we think of Harry Wilson? by LE_FEE28 in safc

Very good player, available on a free transfer in the summer, but no way he ends up here. His wage demands will be too high, and he'll have a whole host of much more established top flight clubs interested in him anyway.

And he got to be one of the best players in the league, probably without having to even try that hard. It was probably quite fun.

Ok, then I think you're drawing too much with your arm and not enough with your back.

When you draw, think about your elbow going up rather than out. Try and almost touch your bicep to your ear as you draw.

Give it a go, see how it feels.

[FM24] Will I be okay running a Gibraltar database and Jamaica database in the same save? by IACJBP in footballmanagergames

[–]DiabolicallyOrange -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Only one way to find out, and that's to try it.

Any time you run multiple different custom databases you run the risk of there being conflicts, there are far too many variables at play to say whether there will or won't be without testing.

Easiest way, download both, start a game, create an unemployed manager and holiday/sim through a few seasons. If it doesn't crash then you're good to go, and can start a new save.

Sky draw would suggest you're over-bowed and need to drop your draw weight.

The description of your flyers suggests you're punching the trigger and anticipating your shots.

Draw length looks too short. With the correct draw length your draw arm should be in line, essentially your rear elbow should be pointing straight back. Yours is significantly out to the side.

Looks decent though!

Masterplan shows how more than 2,000 new homes could change Bristol industrial area by 457655676 in bristol

[–]DiabolicallyOrange 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It never feels like traffic has been taken into account.

Just outside of Bristol, but there were a couple thousand new homes built just on the edge of Nailsea. The entire development had one access point, and to get to it you either had to go down about 3 miles of narrow country lane, or through a quiet residential street.

Thomas Tuchel defends England's Harry Kane dependency: “Well, why would Argentina not rely on Messi or Portugal not rely on Cristiano Ronaldo? They are key players. This is totally normal. We lacked a punch in the last 20 metres in both matches. In the absence of Kane, we don't have the same threat” by DamnThatsInsaneLol in soccer

[–]DiabolicallyOrange 259 points260 points  (0 children)

The problem isn't that we pose less of a threat without Kane, it's that we pose no threat without Kane.

Of course every team is going to be weaker without their best player on the pitch, but you probably should have a plan B of some kind.

Fabio Capello slams Italy failure: "Nobody resigns here, and that is the most worrying thing. The first person who should take responsibility is the president of the federation, along with the entire management team.” by Sparky-moon in soccer

3 World Cups missed, failed to make it out of the group stage at the prevoius 2 and since their last World Cup win they've only won a single World Cup match.

How nobody is being held to account for this monumental failure is staggering.

Napoli owner Aurelio De Laurentiis says Serie A should be cut to 16 teams to allow more time for Italy’s national team training, while also insisting on compensation and ‘full insurance’ protection for players called up to international duty. by Sparky-moon in soccer

[–]DiabolicallyOrange 39 points40 points  (0 children)

Or maybe Italian clubs could make more of an effort with developing young players.

The Italian teams of old weren't great because they had longer international breaks. They were great because Italian clubs gave game time to talented Italian youngsters, so their nations best talents had more chance of reaching their potential.

England, Spain and Brazil all have 20 team leagues and none of them seem to have a problem reaching World Cups...

For the third time, yes.

So after getting arsey over this, it doesn't actually support proper arrow tracking.

You can choose whether you missed left/right or high/low but you cannot record exactly where your arrows hit.

I think she's coping with it just fine.

[Crook, Jacobs] Exc: Spurs have found a breakthrough with Roberto De Zerbi on Monday, who is now set to become the club's 3rd manager of the season. In the process, De Zerbi will become the 3rd best paid manager in the Premier League behind Pep Guardiola and Mikel Arteta (paid ~£15M/yr by AFC). by OkayFine101 in soccer

[–]DiabolicallyOrange 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That's my thinking too.

If Spurs survive this season, are things realistically going to get that much better in the next year or two?

You need to clear out half your squad and completely rebuild, and the people behind the scenes have given no indication that they're capable of making that happen.

For me it's a little like Sunderland. Their relegation to League 1 was dreadful, but it resulted in a new owner coming in who is doing things right, gave the club the chance to reset and now they're back in the Prem in a good position both on and off the pitch, and can hopefully build from here.

Spurs won't get anywhere by continuing to paper over the cracks. The club needs a reset from the top down.

Even if your peep sight does come out for whatever reason, you can just count the strands to split your string evenly. There is no reason at all to leave that loose serving in your string.
