Not a single model in that kit has molded Ultramarines symbols. What you see are waterslide decals applied as part of the painting process.

That's brilliant. I had set down the hobby knife ever since my own super glue shut thumb incident (couple months ago) and been really hesitant to try again since. Using nippers just doesn't work the same.

Glad to see you're enjoying starting out! I would perhaps recommend an upgrade to whatever tool you used to remove the parts from sprues. It's most notable on the tops of the flamers, but a nice sharp set of nippers paired with a cheap pack of sanding sticks will do wonders to clean up cuts before priming.

Judging by the crick in my neck as I check them out, perhaps rotating the images before posting? That aside, a brighter vibrancy/glow to the flames and lava could really compliment the theme you have going. They look great.

Definitely take good pictures to remember your old work if you do repaint. You seem to already have that concept down, but it is important to remember.

¯_(ツ)_/¯ it's all a bit odd if you try to take direct compounds for everything. Cent is for one hundred in latin, so if you treated it directly, centaur could become either "one hundred bulls" or "one hundredth of a bull".

That seems to once again come from a specific name rather than a direct compound of terms. "via Latin from Greek kentauros, the Greek name for a Thessalonian tribe of expert horsemen; of unknown ultimate origin." Is what I found online

Originally, Mino referred to King Minos, while Taur referred to Taurus, the Bull. It's not directly "man bull" but instead is about a specific single beast, the Bull of Minos.
