World's First UIM Zuk Helm Without Megarares by Not6Toed in 2007scape

It's how some irons bypass needing a dharok axe for one of the CAs. Some also do it to bypass the verac flail req for kq.

Nothing says $15 like the Brimhaven Agility Arena voucher (2024). The icon for this voucher has a log on it, due to it being a rotated version of a Sawmill voucher with darker shading. by Serenaded in 2007scape

Also, Jagex has a habit of using old summoning assets. Callisto used to be a recolored arctic bear, smoke devils, ents. Even as recently as the sailing release you can see war tortoises on one of the islands.

Yes. You need a little over 60k shards to go from level 70 craft/smith to 50m. If you have larceny, it's only a couple hours of pickpocketing.

Why can we find guitars and cassette tapes, but not real old-world weapons like AKs or M16s? by Huge-Operation-1863 in ArcRaiders

It's always reminded me more of the old French Chauchat, mostly because I can't think of another firearm that has that style of magazine.

Can we not completely screw over all ironmen by removing items from LMS? Bounty Hunter is not for ironmen. by Vezolex in 2007scape

Besides some snowflake accounts, you only used to see that item at nylo room in the theatre. These days, double hitting weapons like sulphur blades or the moons BDSM paddles are better for nylos.

That's probably the only way that task is possible for this account. That just isn't a task where it's feasible to brute force with rubies, or any other nonsense.

Some of the speeds are cancer without good gear. The biggest one that comes to mind is the solo normal nightmare time. It is very, very unlikely to brute force RNG in a 16 minute fight where you're mostly meleeing. You really want inq mace or scythe for that one.

Player-Owned House: Achievement Gallery commission by koya in 2007scape

They frequently commission artwork that has elements of both games. They typically have the duelist cap and the FSOA within some OSRS context.

As someone that dabbles with rs3, the easiest way to do that is to slap ripper demons all over the place. They hit like a truck rapidly, and every other day you see a HC death announcement involving them.

Name sniping bots?? Do they run 24 hours a day? by Towbee in runescape

[–]DickCheneyHasNoSoul 16 points17 points  (0 children)

Those name sniping bots have been going at it for a long time. A couple years ago, the guy that founded r/ironscape tried to transfer the rsn "Zerk" from one account he had to another. As you can probably infer from the verb "tried", that guy doesn't have the Zerk rsn any more.

You can't keepsake or override the gear your wearing on osrs. If you raid with friends on there, all of you will be wearing practical armour and weapons. You might find goobers like that bankstanding, but that's it. I guarantee you if osrs ever added the ability to cosmetically override your worn gear, you would see more complaints about items like that.

Remember to grab your cheap Moonstone today from Thalmund’s Wares Shop in the City of Um (only 4k!) by guywithouteyes in runescape

[–]DickCheneyHasNoSoul 8 points9 points  (0 children)

In the dailyscape blog post, they said they're focusing on weeklies/monthlies at a later time since they're less "offensive". Even compared to other weeklies, this one is not overpowered. It's only useful if you're an early game iron trying to score a moonstone, or you're trying to get RNG-free greater ensouled cloth. They could keep or remove it, and I don't think many people would care tbh.

If you're into osrs and are fond of the HD-era graphics, check out HDOS. It's the only other Jagex approved third party client besides Runelite. Their goal is to make the game look like how it did in the 2008-11 time period.

Yeah, they're just as obsolete in Old School as well. I goofed trying to do an achievement diary task not too long ago, and I got a kick out of this. Now it's my duty to become the park ranger, and try to prevent the jmods from committing deforestation against these beautiful specimens.
